Max held Shawn's hand tightly, almost scared to let go. She ran so quickly, yet she was holding back, alowing him to keep up.
She led him to a house, a house filled with a screaming man, the terrible sound was dircted at a woman who was bedridden, as a younger boy, seemingly younger than Max herself hid in the corner. Max told Shawn to wait outside the door.
Nearly 30 secounds later she took the younger boy away from the fighting pair.
"Let's go...." Her voice was sopping with anger and sadness.
"A-allright....." Shawn kept his voice quiet, knowing he shouldnt ask.
"S-sister? W-were are w-we going?" The young boys voice was shaky due to crying.
"A place i should have showed you a while back..." She picked up her brother and grabbed Shawns hand once more, she ran, out of the clearing and deeper into the woods. They ran fro 10 minutes strait, when they finally stopped, Shawn fell to his knees and clutched chest, winded.
Max looked up at the tree, were a treehouse sat. She placed her brother in a bucket attached to a robe leading to the house.
"Stay there for a sec, I'll pull you up, SHawn, c'mon, help me." SHe climbed up the rope latter as Shawn obediantly followed after her.
Once in the stable house above ground, she grabbed a rope and tugged harshly dragging upi her brother, then picking him up and placing him on his feet.
All around the tree house were sports and "Emo" Band posters, such as Fall Out Boy, Gorillaz, Panic! At The Disco, and Twenty One Pilots. Then art supplise were scattered around as well as strange painting on the walls, one perticular one stood out, a circle with a cross through it.
"Oh dear......" Shawn wispered under an unsetle breath, " She know we're out there..."
