"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know."
"Don't be sorry. There's nothing to be sorry about."
"Well I am, sorry I mean."
I look at his gorgeous blue eyes and smile, he smiles back. No hesitations, no nothing, just a smile.
"You wanna go out to dinner?" I ask out of the blue. To my surprise he says yes.

I'm in a red leather booth as I wait for Andy to leave the toilets. We chose Nandos as a place to eat because it was the only restraunt within walking distance. I tap my fingers In the glossy table to the steady beat of the song 'Santa Clause is coming to Town' playing throughout the building.
"I'm back." Andy said as he slid in the seat across from me, the leather squeaking as he did.
"I got you a water when the waiter asked for a drink, Is that ok? I'm not sure what you like to drink."
"It's fine."
"Are you sure? because you can get whatever you want."
"I'm fine." He still looks at his drink with little intrist. I feel bad for taking his choice away.
"For future notice, what do you like to drink?"
"Water."
"Don't lie to me. If water didn't exist and you couldn't find any on the world, what would you be drinking."
"Nothing because I would be dead." I roll my eyes at the sentiment.
"Common. Just answer the question."
"Tea." At that, I got up from my seat and went to find the nearest waiter. I tapped the workers shoulder and she turned to look at me. Her eyes were deep set and the soft wrinkles surrounding her face showed that she was probably in her mid 40's. Her eyes we a hazy blue and her hair was kept up In a bun.
"How may I help you?"
"I ordered the wrong drink for my friend and I was wondering if I could get a tea?"
"No problem! What table?" I pointed over to where Andy was sitting and he buried his head in his hand in response.
"Ok it will be right out."
"Thank you." I head back to the table to be greeted in silence. All I can see is the shimmery blonde hair that was laying on top of Andy's head.
"No thank you's? Or Rye, you literally are the best human on planet Earth?"
"Or the most cocky human on planet Earth?" Andy said, still refusing to look at me.
"And what makes you think that?" I try to sound as innocent as possible. It didn't work out very well. But Andy finally lifted his head to meet my eyes. Smirk plastered on his face.
"Oh I don't know...?"
We both bursted our in laughter gaining a few stares from the people around us.
"Here's your tea sir, are you ready to order?"
"Yes ma'am." I order first, nothing big as I wasn't that hungry. Andy got the same thing as me minus the chips.
"Do you not like chips?" I asked once the waiter left.
"I do, I'm just not that hungry."
"Don't be asking for any of mine."
"I won't." I cocked an eyebrow at him, not believing a word he says. He raised three fingers and held the close to his face. "Scouts honor." He giggles at his own joke causing me to laugh as well.
"So, how did you get into music?"
"You know christmas, four, you know the story."
Well that was rude. I tried to start conversation and he barely gave me an answer. I told him so and he looked shocked.
"I'm sorry—wait do you really not know?"
"No. That's why I asked." I said like it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Well when I was four, I kept asking for a guitar for Christmas, and I got it. But I didn't know how to play, so I taught myself. Once I got older I learned how to play correctly. As for singing, I've been singing since I learned to talk."
"You've played guitar since you were four?"
"Yea." His eyes sparkled when he talked about his past. I could tell he was proud of himself, and he had every right to be.
"I think at four I was...I was probably to busy picking boogers to do anything big."
"Ewww."
"You know you did it too."
"Did not!"
I rolled my eyes and told him I had to use the bathroom. I get done pretty quickly, being a guy and all. Women always takes so long to use the restroom! (A/N- why do I have to wait in a line every time I have to pee at school! I was tardy BC I had to wait in a line of 5 people!)
I walk back to the table to see a worrisome Andy. He's looking around doing, well I don't know what he's doing.
"Hey are you- where'd all my chips go!" On my plate there was nothing but a burger and a small handful of chips.
"Rye we have to go."
"What? No, I haven't eaten yet."
"No we really have to go." He poited to the door and I saw three of the waiters holding back a swarm of teenage girls. No doubt they were all here to see the famous Andy Fowler.
"Shit." I said when I heard them scream. "What are we going to do?"
"I don't know?"
"Have you never been in this situation before?"
"I have body guards that take care of that stuff. And when their gone I have Allen."
I grunted and looked back at the door. No way am I getting swarmed by all of those girls. I dug out my wallet and threw some cash on the table and grabbed my burger. There was no way I was about to leave my food, I'm starving. I took Andy's hand and ran in the opposite way of the swarm of girls in a bunch like bees. I'm sure I saw an exit door towards the restroom. I pull him in that direction, and luckily enough I was right. The cold brisk air hits our skin as we get outside. The door slams shut with a loud thump.
"He's over here!" I hear a girl scream. I started pulling him away, yet again, looking for a place to stop.
"Rye this way." For the first time, Andy starts pulling me, and tucks us into a small corner, invisible to the naked eye.
Andy's body was pressing against mine so that we'd both fit. I could feel his quick breath start to slow. His soft blond hair was tickling the bottom of my chin.
After a moment, Andy steps out. I follow.
"We should head to the hotel."
I nod and wait for him to lead the way. I don't know what got in me, but I took his hand. Not a moment of hesitation. And maybe something got the best of him too, because he continued to hold it until we got home.
