Typhon took off his mask as he entered the flat which doubled as his groups base. He sighed as he shifted into his Locke persona and smiled as Kayla and Nick came into view. Nick had retired his outfit in favor of a red shirt with the words "Rock Out" on it along with baggy, black sweatpants.

Thy both took notice of him and nodded. "Hey boss, how'd it go?" Nick asked.

"New villain group in town, the Scarred Pinpoint runs with them, meeting tonight at the pier." Locke looked to Nick. "I'll be needing you tonight, think you can pull yourself together?"

"Course I can boss man." Nick said as he stood. "Jevel reporting for duty." He said before saluting.

"Good, now Kayla, how's business?" He asked Kayla.

"I have two appointments today. One has a dismembered arm, a civi, and the other is a rare guest. A hero, can't say who."

"I see, as long as they pay and don't give you any trouble then that's fine. But if something does happen call me."

"Righto." Kayla replied as she turned and headed up a flight of stairs that spiraled upwards. Leaving the two men alone.

"So the Scarred huh, never heard of them."

"Neither have I before today, looked them up on my way back though, seems they started up in Chicago so that already gives them some cred. They evaded the Chicago Heroes for quite sometime until they were betrayed by one of their own, dealt with now, but they were forced to move. I don't know the particulars but it seems they are willing to play by our rules." Locke brushed back his hair. "Even still... I want to play it safe so pack heavy tonight."

"Locke, I've always wanted you to say those words to me." Nick said in sheer joy, containing a squel. "I WILL PACK SO MANY EXPLOSIVES!!!" He dashed off upstairs and Locke was left wondering whether he made a bad call there, if nothing happened and the others noticed how much fire power he brought they might see that as a sign of fear.... weakness. He didn't need that for his image, but his concern over the Fallen wouldn't wane. Back in Chicago their main trade was sex trafficking which was something Locke didn't agree with. Nor did Glass. And the Brotherhood focused more on arms dead behind the scenes like Glass. The Cobalts were muscle for hire like Locke's own group.

Locke checked the clock. 10:16. Still too damn early for all this shit. He went upstairs past Kayla and Nick's room and towards his own room on the second floor. Inside was simple furnishings and a closet which he pulled civi clothes out of. He pulled on a steel gray hoodie over a sea blue shirt which depicted a graffiti design. He also dawned a pair of jeans and pulled on black and white running shoes.

His stomach growled hungrily. Four hours since he woke up and he hasn't even eaten breakfast yet. As he left his room he bumped into Nick. "Hey boss, going out?"

"Yes, I'm hungry, going to go too Othello's."

"Ah, hot chocolate again huh? What a kid you are." Nick chuckled.

Locke let out a short laugh of his own as he shoved his friend playfully with one hand. "Don't make fun of a man's hot chocolate!"

"Oh I'm not, I'm making fun of you." Nick laughed as Locke waved him off and departed. Giving him the bird as he did so.

Evelynn looked herself over in the mirror of her room. A room currently stacked to the ceiling with boxes. The mirror and her bed being the only furnishings that were unpacked. "No... this won't do." She said as she took of a white blouse showing the gray muscle shirt beneath. She frowned as she returned to her closet and picked out another top. This one was an off the shoulder sweater colored purple. Evelynn thought it was cute and dawned it finding that it went well with the light blue skirt and black leggings she had also chosen to wear. She tied back her dirty blonde hair into a ponytail as she exited her cluttered room and out into the small kitchen and dinning area of her apartment. A small flat screen stood in the corner of her kitchen counter currently powered off. She checked the cupboards and found them bare bones save for oatmeal. She sighed. She would have to do some shopping later today.
