Lanny's POV

I looked up at Ava, and suddenly felt worried. Why does he want me back?

Why now?

After so long?

Why didn't he want me, then?

Ava snatched the phone out my hand, and gasped.

"Are you gonna go meet him?"

I shook my head. "He broke my heart, so why should I go?"

Ava frowned. "Maybe there was a misunderstanding?"

I shook my head, again, and said," It doesn't matter, lets get started."

She looked at me, before nodding.

"Okay so theme colors?" she asked, while pulling out a journal, and a pen, from under her bed.

I tapped my chin. "How about... blue, pink, and white?"

She glowed. "Thats great!"

She scribbled stuff down in her journal, and asked me more questions.

But I just couldn't focus. I found myself thinking about Tommy.

I walked out the house, and took a stroll around the neighborhood.

Ding!

I pulled out my phone, and read the text. It was from Tommy.

Hey, where are you?

I decide to respond, with a... false answer.

Well... I don't have a ride, so I'm afraid I can't make it.

Don't be silly, I'll pick you up now. Where you at?

I sigh. I ignore the text, and he decides to text me, again. Nagging me. Why can't he just leave me be?

Don't ignore me!

I'm not.

Then where you at? I'm coming to pick you up.

I groaned. After debating with myself whether to go or not, I decide to go.

I watched as his car came into view, and I felt nervous. I wrung my hands, as he rolled down the window.

"Get in, boo." he greeted. My heart fluttered, as he called me boo. It was a pretty stupid name, but it brings back so many memories.

I did as told, and strapped on my seat belt. I looked out the window the whole car ride, not wanting to talk to him.

He cleared his throat. "Hey, thanks for giving me a chance."

"Mhm." I mumbled.

"C'mon, don't just ignore me." He sighed.

He pulled up into the parking lot, and I got out. I ran into the library, got scolded by the librarian, and sat down in the kids section.

I looked around and saw Tommy walking over to me.

He smiled, and I found myself wanting to smile back. I just couldn't help it, and smiled back at him.

He sat down beside me, and stared at me.
