Unknown's p.o.v
I stand up and wobble a bit so I reach out to steady myself with the arm rest. I look out into the vast emptiness and see a very faint blue light.
"Hello? Is someone there?"
The blue light grows brighter and seems to get bigger. It much resembles a flame.
"Greetings. I am Tommy Mazir."
The flame suddenly disappears. I step forward and look around anxiously.
"Boo!"
The flame reappears in front of me and reveals the silhouette of a teenage boy. I fall back into the couch and scream. The now visible boy laughs and the flame disappears.
"Forgive me, madame. I didn't mean to scare you. It's in my nature to joke with others."
I look at him astonished. He made a flame come put of nowhere...and himself too for that matter. His hair was white and matted, like the other boy I had met. His eyes were a light gray and his smile was warm and inviting. He offers me a hand up and I gingerly takes it.
"Like I said, my name is Tommy Mazir. You can call me Tom, Tommy, Mr. Mazir, whatever makes u comfortable."
"M-Mazir...?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Like, the same Mazir as in the household that burnt down?"
"You are very smart. Yes, the same Mazir."
"I-I'll just stick with Tommy..."
I look down and try to mask my confusion.
"Well, I'm sure my brothers and cousins would love to meet you as well. Are you up for a meeting or would you prefer more rest?"
I look up at him and smile.
"Some rest would be nice, thank you."
He smiles and disappears for a split second.
"Of course. Sorry, I tend to do that sometimes. Would like me to show you to our spare room?"
I nod and he leads me up the staircase and opens the second door to the right. I peer in and I stare, awestruck. The room was beautiful. He points to the white dresser and explains to me that there were clothes from his mother in there. He said that his mom was small and that they should fit. I walk in and sprawl out on the bed. I sit up and open the drawers and pick out a evening dress. I smile and hold it up in front of me. I look in a long mirror next to the dresser and giggle. It looked like it would fit.
"You would look beautiful in aunt's dress."
