Barry's POV

i was looking Oliver straight in the face. He was looking at me with confusion and anger in his eyes.

"allies." i mumbled and started to pace. I felt like my mind was running faster than my feet would ever be able to.

"hm?" felicity asked

"barry.... youre on to something?" kara started to catch on

"ten allies. one token each. a total of ten tokens." i spoke aloud. they all were drawn in

"what youre saying is that there are ten people in this entire WORLD that can help you!" felicity was not at all grasping this concept.

"but think about it. ten people. you guys are allies right? thats three. but what im stuck on is the token!" kara added

they were starting to comprehend more.

"what could a token be?" i asked

"i dont know... what do we all have that seven other people we dont even know also have?" oliver asked

"well i mean we all have those original team arrow jerseys felicity gave us as a christmas gag gift but we donttalk about those.... but no one else would have them..." john said and we all bust out into laughter

"JOHN! i thought we werent discussing that until this christmas!" Felicity ran across the room and tried to punch him in the arm.

"you realize that didnt hurt right... like at all?!" John said followed by Oliver punching him in his other arm. This time inflicting pain.

"thanks" felicity smiled then retreated back to her chair.

"what if they didnt have to be the same..." kara wondered and started to pace

"go on" i was intrigued and we almost started our own convorsation with eavesdroppers.

"what if it was like pieces of a puzzle. you know? they wouldnt be the same but they would be able to come together to make something. no?" she was kind of cute when she babbled then realized i was the only one who sort of understood.

"i think?" I replied. she sighed and noticed a clear white board. she started to draw.

"think of it this way... so if we have ten people..." She drew ten stick figures and put the names of Oliver, Felicity and John under three of them "If they each have something that i dont know maybe they use frequently in another life like...." she drew an arrow from oliver's stick figure to a blank space.

Then i watched as something overtook her. i ran behind the board and was looking at her. eyes closed she abruptly pressed the pen against the board.

"MY GOOD WHITE BOARD PEN" Felicity yelled, then realized she shouldnt have once everyone else except Kara glarred at her.

We watched the pen move gently but slowly making a triangular like shape. there were squiggles inside of it. almost like writing.

she stopped. i could almost see her coming back to the present, if thats even what were calling what were in.

"i saw something. but i dont know her. she showed me something and mentioned your name and a symbol of reconnecting." she turned and faced oliver.

"ollie?" Felicity spoke softly.

he started to walk towards the elevator.

"come with me. i think i know..." he stepped in the elevator as we all followed him

as the elevator doors closed he opened a secret pannel and pressed a button.

we walked through the main lobby of queen consolidated and the press were standing outside. I had never done well in crowds.

"digg take them through the back. you too felicity. Ill meet you in the car" He said as we went towards the press and we went another. Not once did he make eye contact with any of us.

we were in a dark back room that obviously wasnt used very much. The small window through the door didnt emit very much light. The next thing i know, a limo pulls up infront of the door and were shoved through the door i swear was built for single file lines.

As we got in, Oliver was already there.

"home" oliver said as we closed the door on either side. the privacy window between the driver and the passengers was then put up so we could talk.

"you saw my sister thea. she moved out last year but still has everything left in the same place. All except her clothes. i gave her what you saw, the hosin. it was a symbol of reconnecting but she thought it was something from an airport gift shop." Oliver spoke with an emptiness behind his voice.

"so it wasnt?" i asked, when i probably shouldnt have

"eight years ago i was stranded on an island in the middle of the north china sea. Lian Yu. I had one goal, to survive. but the man I met on the island gave it to me and it helped me to overcome some of the obstacles I faced." Oliver said then changed his gaze to look out the window.

Felicity shook her was slightly and the rest of the car ride was silent.

"Wow..." Kara said as we stepped out, looking at the Queen Mansion.

"welcome, Kara and Barry, to my home. I will lead you upstairs to locate the hosin" Oliver said opening the door.

Though Kara and I were in awe of the house in general, we had no time to be distracted.

"This is Thea's room" Felicity said as Oliver had passed it

"As you can tell I dont spend much time in this wing"

"Let alone this house" John sai giving him a death glare. I snickered a bit as he winked at felicity, who rolled her eyes.

We searched her room for approximately fifteen minutes until Kara found it wrapped in a sock.

"This is it right?" She was slightly disgusted

"Wow Thea. Thats a new low" Oliver said "but yes that's it. I think?" He said looking it over.

"How can you think? She wouldn't have anything else of the same would she?" I asked

"No but it doesn't seem right" He said throwing it from hand to hand.

He tossed it to me and even though I had super speed, I missed the cue and dropped it.

It split into two halves with a note in the middle.

"Congratulations you've found a token. Good thing the next one can't be broken. The track you are on is one that is long, from here your allies are not residing in starlight" The note read.

"Felicity did you...?" I went to ask as she took a small Blacklight flashlight out of her purse.

There was again a question mark in the middle of the page but this time, only a scramble of letters around it.
