I walk around, outside the two judge French doors which leads out to the party. I fiddle with my nails, as I wait. I'm in such deep thought I don't realize arms are wrapped around me. I look up to see my mother hugging me. " Mom." I say as I see tears in her eyes. " I'm so proud of you. You came so far.." she says as I whip away a tear from her face. " thanks .." " You look so beautiful... my darling" she says twirling her figure, telling me to twirl. I gracefully twirl around. I stop as Mother smiles at me." Better than those boy clothes you use to wear?" She says as I start to laugh. " ha ha ha mom" I say as a royal butler comes to take my mother away to the ball. " Good luck darling." She says as she walks away leaving me alone. " ready to go Princess?" Says the man at the door to open them. I nod as I walk I front of it. The doors open as a flash of light bites my eyes. I turn to see The king standing there holding his arm out. I take it as her anonces " Let the Christmas Ball begin!" I walk around saying hello to all the guests. I look over to see Thresh walking over in a nice black suit with Sun glasses. I roll my eyes as he acts like Mr. Oh so serious.

" Hey... new look?" I say walking forward to him. " perhaps?!" He says making me laugh softly. " care for a dance?" He asks holding out his hand. I cross my arms." Hmmm ... should I?" " if you do you will never to get it.." he says. I take his hand as he leads my onto the dance floor. The music starts as we dance around. He steps on my foot about twice and I laughed the whole time. We stop as the dance ends. " I will be back I'm going to get some punch." Thresh says as I nod. I walk past the crowds, out onto the balcony. I lean against the railings, looking out to the lake. " thinking about jumping?" A voice says as I scoff. " not likely Thresh!" I say turning around on my heal. I stop there staring.... " Hello,Ahsely." I stare stumbling back but hitting the railing stops me. He walks forward as I'm at a loss of words. " missed me?" " ..... Hunter..." I finally says with a harsh breath. " yes?" He says walking forward more.
