I wake but not opening my eyes, I keep them closed fearing the worst. I place my hands on my ears not wanting to hear those screams again. I feel hands place my own down from my ears. "It's ok." Hunter whispers. I open my eyes, as the light blared at me, I get use to it as Hunters face comes to focuses. Hunter smiles as I look at him. The door flings open, as Thresh runs in spinning around to look at me. "Ashley are you ok, I heard what happened and raced up here as fast as I can!" Thresh yells out of breath. I look at him with a half smile on my face. Thresh smiles as he finally sees Hunter sitting on the edge of the bed. His smile fades as he sees Hunter looking at me. I try to sit up, but Hunter grabs my hand. "You should probably rest."Hunter says not wanting anything to happen to me again. "Ahhhhh ......o......no!"I say as my feet hit the floor. I stand up as Hunter stands up as well. Hunter watches as there is no way from stopping me know. I go into the bath room and change into black pants, gray shirt, and a camouflage jacket. I place my boots on as Hunter hands me my bow. I look at him as he nods his head, I grab it. I head to the door. Before I could open it England races inside,making me back up. England locks eyes on me, and before I could blink she is hugging me. "Oh m goodness are you ok!?"England yells in my ear. "I'm fine."I say trying to pull away. England looks down at my clothes and shacks her head in disagreement. "Oh honey!" She sighs. "You can wear that to the ball!" Ball!? "What ball!"I yell. "The one tonight silly!"England says pushing the boys out of the room. In two seconds she is placing make-up on me as I sit on a stole. As England finishes she steps back looking at her work. Kayon comes in as England talks to him as I sit there bored. Kayon comes over as he places his hand out making me get down. England covers my eyes as they place a dress on me. "Ok, how do you like it!?"Kayon says as England places her hands down. There in a mirror was a long black dress, right at my lower chest it had clear lace to see my stomach. The top was thick straps, Andy shoes where black heals. I turn around to hug Kayon as I almost fall in the heals. England catches me and places me up right. "Careful."England says. "Perfect." Kayon says.
I walk down the hall way not knowing what to do with myself. I start to bite my nails, as someone grabs my hand. Thresh swirls me around as I laugh. We dance around the hallway as we laugh really hard. He swirls me again as we both try to catch our breath. "You not going to the ball?" I say looking at his shinny armor. "No my dad wants extra protection when everyone comes."He say looking behind me. I turn around as I fall down. Hunter catches me by the under arms. "Reached heals!" I yell as I get myself up right again. I look at Hunter as I see him and his little brother. "Hey, Isaac."I say smiling. Isaac says nothing as I see tears in his eyes.
