Chapter 8

*ZACS POV*
Today was the day of the meeting of HSM and I was so excited to find out what the movie is all about and I heard Vanessa broke up with Austin !?
Wow
I never thought that day would come but .........
I got dressed and I got a call from my mum
"Hello mum "
"Hello Zachary "
"Hi mum how are you "
"Good ,good luck today I'm so happy for you !"
I smiled
"Thanks mum I love you "
"I love you too Zachary "
I then ended the call and Dylan came up stairs and said
"Zac don't worry it will be fine !"
"I know "
We high fived and then I got my keys and said goodbye and texted on the group chat

I then got in my car and drove to the meeting .When I got there I got out the car and seen Corbin get out his car and I went over and said
"Hey man "
"Hey Z "
We then walked into the meeting together and when we got there I said hello to Kenny,Monique , Lucas ,Ashley and Bart and then I sat down and we waited for V to come. She entered the room and said
"Hi guys "
She sat down next to me as we had our name cards of where we sit and me and Vanessa were sitting together and I turned round and said
"Hey "
She smiled
"Hi "
Then Kenny said
"So here is the scripts and I'm very excited for this movie , this movie is based around this fan trailer what a fan has made here on the screen is the trailer "

"Sure is !"
Then Kenny gives us all our scrips and I read my script and i looked over to Vanessa and she smiled and I smiled back
I was so excited to be working with her again
I just hope Troy and Gabriella get back to together :(
Lucas said
"I'm so excited "
Vanessa said
"Me too ,When do we start rehearsals?"
"Next week so I will see you all then !"
Everyone clapped and I whooped and everyone laughed and Ashley said
"Is everyone free after this ?"
"I am ?"
"I am "
"I am "
" Yup "
"Ok great i think we should all go and hang out together just like old times !"
Vanessa smiled
"Great !"
I nodded
So it means I can spend more time with Vanessa and of course the cast :)
We all said bye to Kenny and then we all drove to the place we used to hang out , all of our fav restaurant.I drove to the restaurant and I waited outside for all the cast and then we all went inside and got a big long table and I sat opposite Vanessa and had Corbin and Lucas on one side and all the girls on the opposite side and Vanessa said
"Aww it feels like old times "
We then ordered some drinks and Monique said
"Can we get a group photo ?"
Everyone said yes and we all took and group photo and then Monique sent us all the pic and then we started to chat

Lucas said
"So how's everyone doing ?"
I said
"Great "
Vanessa looked down and said
"Not good "
"Why what's wrong ? "
Vanessa sighed
"Me and Austin broke up "
Ashley put her arm around V
Lucas said
"Oh Vanessa I'm so sorry "
I said
"V we all are so sorry but it will get better I'm sure of it "
She smiled a little and said
"Thanks Z it means a lot "
Then Ashley looked at me and I got a notification on my phone
Ashley
I need to talk to u

She then said
"Zac can I talk to you "
"Yah sure "
Why is Ashley wanting to talk to me in private ?
We went outside of the restaurant and Ashley put her hand on my shoulder
"Zac ... I know you like Vanessa "
She knows ...... oh no
"Wha...t no "
She laughed
"Zac you can tell the way you look at her , you still love her !"
"Well ...... yah but I'm her friend and she doesn't love me , we broke up !"
"She might be your friend but Z she will come around and realise that you are her man !"
I sighed
"Z why do you think she broke up with Austin !?"
"Yah but ..."
"No buts I'm sure she likes you weather she knows it or not , Z tonight I will convince her to come round to my house and I will talk about you and see how she reacts "
What if she doesn't like me in that way
"You sure ?"
She smiled
"Your my best friend Zac !"
I smiled and I hugged her and then we went back inside .We got to the table and Vanessa said confused
"Is everything ok ?"
Ashley and me said
"Yah of course !"
She nodded and then I sat back down
I hope that plan works !

*Vanessas POV *
Later on we said our goodbyes and then Ashley said
"V do you want to come over mine ?"
"Yah sure "
We went over to Ashley's and sat down and Ashley said
"So today was good right ?"
I replied
"Yah I'm so excited for the movie !"
Ashley smiled
"Me too , you and Z seem to be on good terms ?"
"Well yah we are , I spoke to him at the reunion and said we have no hard feelings and now we are friends "
"I'm happy for you V but do you think you could go back to the way it used to be ?"
I sighed
"Well yah I want it to be like when we all first met and just have fun "
"No love ?"
I laughed
Between me and Zac ?
"Oh no no me and Zac are just friends Ash "
"V it could be , you know how I feel about you two I love you both and you two were perfect I don't know why you two broke up and I feel like this is the time you could find your 1 "
I blushed
"No Ash we are just good friends but thanks for the advice and yes we were a really good couple "
I smiled and Ashley smiled and then we both laughed
Do I have feelings for him ?!

Then I went home and I shouted
"See you soon !"

*Zac's PoV *
I was working and i got a phone call and I looked down at my phone and seen Ashley, I picked up the phone and of course answered straight away
"Hey Z "
"Hey Ashley what's up "
"So Vanessa has just left and we had a chat "
I smiled
This could be the moment
"And "
"And I said about you two and she said you two are really good friends "
I smiled
"And she said that she said you two were a really good couple and she was blushing Zac I think you have a chance !"
"Do you think so !"
She shouted
"Yes Zac But don't go full in just spend some time with her and then tell her how you feel "
"Thanks Ash it really means a lot !"

Does this mean me and V have a chance

The rehearsals was in 3 weeks and I already couldn't wait to get started !
