Juliette watched her son silently as he did the brooding all Cavelli's were prone to doing when they met women who made them wonder between kissing the sense out of them or give them a harsh spanking. As a mother, it was Juliette's fondest and greatest wish for all her children to find women who would shower unconditional love upon them. She had always wanted all of her children to have what she and Lucian shared together.

When Juliette had met charming Ollie Clarkson, she knew the other woman was the one for her Vitelli. Vitelli was among the most closed off amongst her and Lucian's brood of children. That was a given considering that Vitelli was closest to Carlos of all the brothers and watching his oldest brother fall in love with a woman who hadn't loved nor appreciated him the way he should have, and seeing first hand the devastation it had brought to both Carlos and the twins had Vitelli more than mistrustful towards finding his own soulmate. 

The bond between Juliette and Lucian was a rare, once in a life time thing and Vitelli hadn't thought himself of searching for it and settling with one woman until Olivia Clarkson had glided into his life. He had zeroed in on her as though there existed no other female in his world other than that little minx, he had thought it would be a passing infatuation, but it had only gotten worse after he had Olivia writhing and whimpering in pleasure in his bed.

She was an addiction that he couldn't quench and he had needed to get away, even if it were for a moment. And the first place to retreat to that had popped up in his mind had been back home to Italy, where the comforting smell of home and the warm of his Mama waited for him along with the lingering nostalgia of his childhood.

"He has that look on his face, mio amore." Lucian whispered as he too joined Juliette in silently watching their son as he glared fiercely at the roses his mother had painstakingly planted. "The one all Cavelli men are prone to having, when they face the dilemma of love." Juliette added, leaning back against the warm, sturdy frame of her husband. Lucian smiled, his hands moving to rest atop his wife's where she had crossed them in front of her stomach.

"Yes, but I doubt the boy is aware of it just yet." Lucian answers, amusement lacing his tone. "It won't be long, I know I am dying for more grandchildren." Juliette chuckles. "Now go distract our son before he murders my roses with that glare. I need to tend to the kitchen and let the other boys in on the news." Juliette pushed out of her husband'embrace and shooed him towards the gardens. Lucian watched his wife until her figure vanished from view, the fondness in his eyes never fading.

Ollie sat on her bed in her new apartment, even after Vitelli had left, the sheets still smelled like him, and Ollie didn't like how comforting his smell had become to her over the weeks of being with him. There was no doubt that these past few weeks were the happiest she had ever been. Vitelli had his faults, he was controlling, demanding and a dog with a bone when it came to getting his way, but those aside, he seemed as though he was tailor made just for her. 

He matched her in both passion and intellect, their conversations were always interesting and he was respectful of her opinions and genuine in his appreciation and praise for the little tasks she does for him on the occasion. Both of them might be as though they were trying to bury themselves under each other's skin when passion took away their senses, but Ollie hadn't had anything as good as the sex she had with Vitelli. It was raw passion without any holding back.
