I stared at the positive pregnancy test in my hand. What will Jughead think? What will Bella think? What will my mother think? Jughead knocked on the door. "You okay in there Betts?" I yelled back, "Yes, I'm fine" I threw the pregnancy test in the cabinet under the sink and came downstairs.

"Bella, Let's go!" I yelled. I continued to wrap her tuna sandwich up into tinfoil that I started last night . Bella ran in the room with no air in her lungs like she had been underwater for a long time. "C-can you put extra tinfoil in my lunch, so I can make a tinfoil Serpent?" She asked. I immediately said in a sarcastic voice , No you have to make a unicorn! And added the extra tinfoil into her bag.

Jughead walked into the room as if he just won the lottery. "Guess what?" He exclaimed. Bella's guessed if he had got us a pet serpent. When Jughead said no, she stomped her feet on the floor. As her stomping continues, Jughead yells "I got the new and improved Twilight Drive-In opened!". We were all so happy. Jughead has been working on this every since we solved the mystery of the Gargoyle King. A sad voice appears from the happiness "I wanted a pet Serpent" whined Bella. "Oh well, maybe next time!" Jughead said as he lifted her up into his arms. I glanced at the clock, it was a quarter to nine. "Bella, you need to get going! It's your first day of school!" I stuffed her lunch into her backpack and helped her get her boots on.

Just about as I was going to walk her out the door, Jughead stops Bella. He goes down on one knee and say in a soft voice "We can't forget our Serpent jacket can we?" He says while he puts the jacket on her. He whispers into Bella's ear , "the youngest member, is always the most important". I smiled. I just realized I had the most two important people in front of me. As we got to the car, I buckled Bella into her car seat.

When I sat in the drivers seat, I remembered. When am I going to tell Jughead about my pregnancy. I kept reminding myself about the positive stuff going on in my life to keep me distracted from my pregnancy which was still positive but a bit stressful. Jughead opened the Twilight Drive-In, Bella's starting school today, all these new beginnings will bring us closer, especially the newest member to the Jones Family.

We drove passed houses and houses. I couldn't deal with the stress that I had to tell Jughead about my pregnancy soon, so I turned on the radio. Bella started singing to the tunes. She was completely off the lyrics. Instead of "I found it kind of funny, I found it kind of sad." She was singing in her own world, "I thought I saw a bunny, I thought it was bad." I laughed.

When we pulled into the school parking lot, I looked into my review mirror and saw Bella scanning the faces of other children. She looked excited, which I was happy about. But, she also had this look that her father usually has when he's frightened. The look he made when he heard that Jason Blossom was shot, the look he made when he found out who the black hood was and a look he made when he first saw the Gargoyle King. I didn't think a school would be the same amount of fear as that.

We got out of the car and Bella was practically hanging on me. We walked across the parking lot avoiding buses, cars and families. When we got to the front gate I saw Archie and Veronica waiting to see us. We walked up to them and said are usual hellos. Their son Blake, and Bella ran into the in closed gated area and played. I watched them play. Remembering how it only felt like yesterday when I gave birth to Bella. Oh how I miss that, I wish I could have that again: Then I remembered, I'm pregnant.

"How is Bella feeling?" Asked Archie. I thought about it for a second, because I wasn't sure what she was feeling. "Betty?" He questioned. "Oh, sorry. Um, Bella. I-I'm not sure how she's feeling. I do think she feels better after seeing Blake." I smiled. It was silent for a while. I watched Bella and Blake talk to some other kid. Soon I realized it was Ethel's daughter. But Veronica got to it before me, "Blake and Bella don't play with that kid!" She yelled. We all laughed, remembering the past. "Do you guys want to come over for coffee?" I asked. Archie and Veronica looked each other and Veronica said, "Sorry B, we'd love to. But, we have to go pick up Jess for her first day." I thought I was so stupid. I knew their other child Jess starts school later. "Of Course, right." We'll catch up later. We said our goodbyes and I headed home.

As I got home I walked in quietly. I heard the shower running and expected Jughead to be out soon. I place my purse down on the kitchen table, and look at my phone. I got a text from my mother. <Hope Bella has a good first day of school. XoXo> I smiled. Then, I heard the shower shut off so I walked up the stairs to our bedroom. He walked out of our bathroom with his towel around his waist.

"Hey." He said. Before he could say anything, I ran into the steamy bathroom and threw up. "Oh my gosh!" Jughead said as he ran towards me. He pulled my hair back. I backed away from the toilet, and took deep breaths.

"Juggie, I'm pregnant." I said.

"Well, than this is just a knew beginning, I love you." He said.
