They wake up at four the next morning to catch their flight back to L.A. and about half way through the flight, their laughter and childlike behavior is really getting to everyone. "Will you two quit!" yells Mark, as everyone else murmurs in agreement. Meryl hides her face in Maks' shoulder in embarrassment. "You're okay Mer." said Maks as he rubs her back. They remain quiet until the plane lands and they head back to Maks' apartment. "They were really mean." said Meryl as she plops down on his bed. "I really hope it's okay I brought you here instead of taking you to your apartment." Meryl looks at him and smiles. "Please, this is more my home than that place will ever be." Maks kisses her head and tickles her stomach. "You're so cute." Meryl wraps her small arms around him and pulls him down beside her and lays her head against his chest. "I wish you were coming with me when I leave tomorrow." said Meryl as she absentmindedly traces her fingers on Maks' arms. "I know Mer. Trust me, we'll see each other sooner than you think. Time always flys and we made these plans months ago." Maks runs his fingers through her hair and kisses her forehead. "Maybe I'll accidentally board the wrong plane and go with you tomorrow." said Meryl. Maks laughs and hugs her closer to him. "I don't think Jenna would let you do that babe. That's all she's been talking about for two weeks." Meryl sighs and and holds onto him tighter. "Can't we just stay here?" says Meryl quietly and buries her face in the crook of his neck. Maks kisses her head and laughs softly, " I wish we could babe. I wish we could." Maks holds her tight, "Trust me babe. You'll see me again before you know it." Maks and Meryl drift off into a peaceful sleep. The next morning the alarm goes off at five and Maks groans and pulls Meryl closer as she tries to get up. She giggles, "Maks! I've got to get up. I have to be at the airport in an hour." said Meryl as she buries her face in his neck. "You don't act like you're in such a big hurry." Said Maks groggily. "Trust me. I don't want too, but I have to go now that I promised Jenna." said Meryl as she kissed his cheek. Maks wraps his arms around her tighter and kisses her powerfully. He sits up and pulls her up to sit up with him. "Well, let's get moving." Meryl looks at him with a confused look on her face, "What?" asks Maks with a goofy smirk. "You don't have anywhere to go yet, you should go back to sleep." said Meryl. "Actually, I'm going to be getting on a vacation for a few days, Val is too. We decided to do a brother vacation." said Maks with a smile as he wraps his arms around her. She smiles up at him, "Well, where are you going?" she asks. "Oh we were thinking of going to, oh what was the name of that place again. You know I still don't know many places well." Meryl giggles and kisses him. "Oh I remember! We are going wherever our girls are going." said Maks with a smile as Meryl jumps into his arms. "You're coming with me?!" Meryl asks incredulously. "I wouldn't miss the chance." said Maks as he kisses her. They pack their stuff and head to the airport to meet Jenna and Val. When they meet at the gate and see Val and Jenna in each other's arms they can't help but smile. "I wanted to kick his ass since he made me go through all the goodbye crap only to tell me that he's coming with me." said Jenna as she moves closer into Val's arms. Val only laughs in response, he wraps his arms tighter around her and kisses the top of her head. Maks wraps his arm around Meryl's shoulders and tucks her into his side. Meryl lays her head against his chest. "Someone's sleepy." said Jenna, teasing Meryl. Meryl mutters something into Maks ear as she buries her face in his neck. Maks laughs at her, "What?" asks Val. "Meryl said that Jenna shouldn't push it, or she'd kick her ass." They burst out laughing. Maks holds Meryl tighter to him as they wait for the plane to board. When their flight is called they board and when it's called they head on and the switch their seats so that the couples can sit with each other. Meryl sleeps most of the way there, on Maks' chest of course. Meryl wakes up and looks around a little disoriented and disheveled. "Nice hair babe." said Maks as he pats her hair back down into place and chuckles at her. Meryl sends a glare his way and it only makes him laugh harder. Maks pulls her back into his arms and kisses her head, "Don't worry baby, it looks cute on you." said Maks as he kisses her quickly. "Maks. Stop being an ass." said Meryl as she snuggles back into his arms. "An ass wouldn't let you use it as a pillow." said Maks as he rubs her arm. "I've used yours as a shelf before." said Meryl in reference to an after show interview they gave in the second week of the show. Maks laughs as he holds her tighter, " You know you can use me as a pillow anytime you want." said Maks with a smile. Meryl looks up at him and smiles, "I'm holding you to that Maksy. I'm going to need something familiar to help me sleep in Hawaii." said Meryl with a wink. "Do you realize how far I'm wrapped around around your finger?" said Maks as he kisses her head. Meryl just giggles and reaches up to kiss him gently. "It's okay. Maksy, you know that I love you, don't you?" said Meryl. "With ever fiber of my being." said Maks with a small smile. Meryl looks up at him, "Maks? You do know that? Right?" said Meryl as she sits up and looks at him. "Babe, I know that you do. And I love you very much, but..." said Maks as he trails off. "Maks you're scaring me right now. What but is there?" said Meryl. Maks sighs and and pulls her back into his arms, "Meryl, I love you. But, I just can't help but think about what's going to happen when we have to be in different countries and can't speak but for a few minutes everyday. It's going to be so hard to be away from you, it terrifies me so much because I have this overwhelming need to protect you. And I can't do that from half way around the world. I need you with me Meryl, I need to always know you're safe, and the only place I know that is, is when you're in my arms." explained Maks as he kisses her forehead gently. Meryl relaxes into his embrace, "Maks, that's the only place I feel safe too. But we have to honor our commitments." said Meryl as she kisses his cheek. For the rest of the flight they stayed completely wrapped up in each other and murmur sweet nothings to each other.
