First day of high school.... I don't know how to feel people were looking at me all weird because I changed over the summer. I got new clothes I ditched my glasses and started wearing contacts. I honestly, thought I was the shit. Zach really helped me gain more confidence. I held my head up more when I was talking or being talked to, I smiled more and I didn't care what people said. I honestly, don't give a fuck anymore. I had confidence but I didn't have a whole lot of courage to do fun school activities. I've always been in spelling bee's, math clubs, and the english club but, I never did soccer, swim team, or even went to a football game. Hopefully, Zach helps me get through these 4 years.

Fall season sports

Zach ran up to me soooo excited. He was smiling so hard and happy but he couldn't even speak he gave me a piece of paper that said "Congratulations, Zachery Ferrell you have accomplished a great achievement at such a young age. We are excited to welcome you to our Varsity Basketball Lion's Den. We will be expecting you Monday morning before school for a mile run. Bring practice clothes and plenty of deodorant. We will have practice that afternoon at 4:30-7:30 so, you can learn some drills. Hopefully, you will be our new starting point guard. Once again, Congratulations."

I've never seen Zach so happy he was running out of his socks. I wanted to be so excited for him but, he noticed I started to change faces. "What's wrong? Are you not happy for me? Did I do something wrong?" He started questioning my faces and getting angry. I stopped him before he walked off and said "I'll always be happy for you Zach but, I don't want to lose my best friend." I tried holding back tears so he wouldn't be mad at me for crying over something so little but, he knows I have no one who listens to me or cares to speak at all. He grabbed be and hugged me tight with a sigh he told me he'll never lose me to a sport and he'll always be there for me. I believe him but, you'll never know what may happen in the future.

Do you think Zach's going to get tied up in Basketball?
Will he forget about his best friend?
Will they continue to be best friends?
