In this part of the story I will explain when my two younger siblings went to Michigan again with my grandma, nephew, two cousins, and aunt while I, my mother, and my aunts daughter went to a pride event.
It only took a little before convincing to my little brother that he would have more fun on the trip to Michigan than staying to go to the pride event. During the trip that my two siblings went on they stopped at a little store called Boom land somewhere between Tennessee and Michigan. The store contained cheap cigarettes, drinks, food, anything that could be found in an Indian shop, and fireworks. Due to fathers day coming up, my little sister thought it would be nice to get our father a gift. Since our father loves fishing a large mouth based lamp was a great gift that she chose out for him. The plan was to go to Michigan and see him for a little. With disappointment my aunt and grandmother made it so that it didn't work out to where she could see our father during that time in the state. My grandmother and aunt only went for the pain medication and nothing else. Highly upset she came back to Tennessee with the lamp waiting for another time to give it to him.
My little brother who was on the trip dealt with my six year old cousin who drove him up the wall. He dealt with it well and received some snorkels, goggles, and flippers. Since The six year old seemed to take liking to his set instead of his own they had to share. He didn't enjoy the trip that well and found it boring like any child who handle about a twenty hour drive in one weekend.
Aside of that group heading to Michigan I, my mother, and the 18 year old cousin stayed in Tennessee. The only reason we stayed is because my aunt promised her that she would go to the pride event in Nashville Tennessee. That's what I and my mother stayed back for; to bring the 18 year old to the pride event. With the cash that my aunt gave us for this event we went to Covington to find outlet stores for some bright and popping makeup for the pride event. To be part of the Gayness and join in on the culture to see from their side. After about seven stores like Dollar general, family dollar, Walmart and such we found a wig/make up store. K&K. Being females we went a little over what we needed, but makeup for dressing up on causal days was worth more than the makeup for the pride event once. The day after getting what we needed we headed to Nashville. Straight to a Cowboys hotel. That could've been mistaken as a motel. That's where we spent another day until the pride event. The morning of the pride event was full of showers, make up, and creativity. For the first time in year I got to meet my second oldest sister by blood, but due to my grandmother adopting her she was my aunt. She wore a Bikini top and shorts. Mentally I was taken aback at what I saw. That was my sister and her first impression after so many years was a disappointment mentally. All gathering into my mother GMC Acadia we headed to Nashville. My mother, I, my second oldest sister, 18 year old cousin, and sisters boss from work. My sister was bisexual, but, sexuality always change. Finding a good pricing for a parking spot was almost impossible. About seven blocks from where the pride event was held is where we parked for the entire day for only five dollars instead of seven across the road.
Walking to the pride event was slow. The 18 year old who was a heavier package seemed to not be bale to contain her breathing while walking. About every two blocks we would have to stop and sit for a while so that the cousin could catch her breathe. Next on the list was wait in line to get into the fenced in event. It was a pay for thing. Waiting in line I listened to the guy across the street preach the bible about how the LGBQ+ is wrong to the religion that I follow. Another man inside the event did the exact same but about how it was okay according to the bible about the sexuality. Standing there my heart shrunk with fear as a group of people protesting came along saying some sort of phrase. Taking a huge weight off my chest they were there to support the LGBQ+. Inside the pride event the only thing we watched were people lip singing to music in drag queen or almost stripper clothes. That's the only thing the cousins, sister, and her boss came for. Hours spent on watching I and my mother decided to relax in the vehicle for a while. Only if life worked that easy. I and my mother lost our vehicle. Spending about three hours, going in circles, and stopping at the same Starbucks twice was not worth it. One phone call to my second oldest sister could have saved us plenty of time. They knew exactly where the vehicle was hidden in the parking spot. After three hour of looking and walking we finally found it with assistance.
