My phone rang as I swallowed the vodka. It was inspector Jacob, I answered the call.
'What is it Jacob?'
'Sir, we've found another one. Near the old post office this time, but with exact the same symbol.'
'What?! This is the fifth one in this past month! Stay there at the crime scene, I should be there in 10.'

'Mam, I have to get going. I'll call you a cab.' I said to Professor Emsworth.
'Thank you officer, but it'll be fine. I'll arrange for a cab for myself, and I'll be waiting for you at my office in the afternoon tomorrow.'
'Sure, I'll be there.' I said, before I rushed out of the bar to drive to the old post office.

Professor Emsworth had moved to Vineswill around 5 years back from her home, London. She owned an art gallery here and worked as a professor at the university, she had a PhD in theology and the police had been seeking her help in solving a recent case that had come up.

I got into my car and drove to the crime scene. The old post office was an abandoned building, it looked like the perfect place to film a horror movie. There was a railway track not so far off from there. I met with inspector Jacob and he showed me the dead body.

It was exactly like the previous four murders. A cut through the neck, and an inverted cross burned into the forehead. I looked toward Inspector Jacob.
'Sir, I can't believe what I see. Something like this has happened for the first time in my career of 12 years.' He said to me.
'I know. This is a big failure for the whole department, we need to put and end to this. Am meeting Professor Emsworth tomorrow, she says she has something important that I need to see.'
'I hope it helps in solving the case, sir.'
I could sense fear in his voice.
'Anyway Jacob, get the formalities done. I'll leave for home now, and call me if anything comes up.'
'Yes sir.'
He saluted me and I drove off to my house.
