Present

Alicia's POV

'Come on!' My best friend Livvy whined.

'Wait, now?'

She pouted.

'Ok, ok.'

I picked up my phone and started to ring her mum.

'Hi, Alicia.' Her mum said, happily through the phone.

'Hi Mrs Smith. I was wondering would you be ok if I took Livvy to a concert? You wont need to pay a thing. My mum and dad already booked the hotel and there's an extra bed with me. It will be my gift to her.' I said.

My best friend smiled, putting a thumbs up to me.

'Of course. How generous of you!'

I smiled and nodded at Livvy.

She silently screamed and fell back onto my bed.

I laughed.

'Thanks, bye, Mrs Smith.'

'Bye, dear. Enjoy the sleepover.'

I ended the call and was immediately pulled onto my bed.

'I'm going to see Bean!' Livvy giggled.

I laughed.

'And Im seeing Noodles.' I smiled.

Suddenly, a notification popped up on Livvy's phone.

'Who is it?' I asked.

She sat there, silently.

'What's wrong?' I asked, wrapping my arms around her.

'It's Sam.' She muttered, throwing her phone down.

'Hey, don't let him ruin our sleepover.'

Livvy has depression.

Her ex boyfriend caused it too.

He hurt her.

Badly.

And now, she has to live with it.

I hugged her and decided to show her a cute edit of Corbyn on Instagram.

She smiled.

'You're going to meet him. Let that sink in.'
