🥀Chapter One🥀

Elena's POV
I tried to help her and look what happened. She's dead. Killed by her own boyfriend that I warned her about. On top of that I killed my own parents who were abusive. And now I'm just a depressed girl that has no parents, running from the police. I only have one thing that makes me happy. My razor blade. Whenever I feel down, I just take it out of my pocket and I do some drawings with red to take away the pain.

Present Day, Middle School Graduation

It was our graduation from middle school to high school. I am so glad to get out of that crappy ass school. Stephanie said good luck to me before summer break. Stephanie is my childhood friend and I love her so much. Maria is also my friend and she understands everything that I go through. We all got invited to a graduation party and Stephanie brought someone along which who was a guy.

Maria decided to drive us to the party since it was her cousin's house. I hopped in the car and find Stephanie making out with the guy.

"Umm Stephanie?? Could you not do that in the car?" I said as I got out of the car.

"Wait! Elena, he's my boyfriend." She says as she yells from inside the car.

I just walked away like nothing happened. I heard a car door open behind me, followed by footsteps. I felt two hands wrap around my waist.

"Maria... I don't know what I should do anymore. She's destroying herself." I said as I start crying in Maria's arms.

"Don't worry about it, Elena. You have enough things to worry about. Go home and get some rest. I'll pick you up tomorrow. I love you!" She says as I pull away from the hug, still crying.

I smiled at her and wiped my tears. I headed to my house prepared for what comes next. Here I am. In front of my house where I get beat to death by my parents. My mom remarried after my real dad left us. My step dad is just like my mom. An alcoholic who comes home late and beats me just like my mom. Before I could open the door, the door opens revealing my mother. She has an angry look on her face and I was scared. She grabs my wrist harshly and throws me on the couch.

"Where the hell were you!? She yells, welcoming my step dad into the room.

"DO YOU REALIZE WHAT TIME IT IS!? Your mother and I were so worried." He says pulling me into a tight hug.

I know they aren't worried and I know something bad is about to happen. It's like midnight right now and I can understand why they are mad. I shut my eyes tightly bracing for impact as he broke the hug.

"You bring such shame to us!! You should've gone with your father but of course he didn't want you because you're nothing. YOU FUCKING WHORE!!!" She says as she slaps my face along with my step dad hitting me with a belt. They showed signs of satisfaction and happiness.

My step dad grabbed me by my hair and dragged me up the stairs, into my room. He threw me on my bed and kissed me on my lips harshly. Yes, my step dad likes to get sexual with me. He reaches for the hem of my crop top, but I push him away with all my strength and run to the bathroom, locking the door. He banged on the door and I ran to the window. I crack open the window about to jump out.

"Come on, Elena. It won't hurt that much. Do you like it rough or soft??" He says while taking his keys out of his pocket.

They're are locks on every door and my mom and step dad have keys for every door. I hear the door click and without thinking I jump out of the window. I landed on a bush which was quite comfortable. I look back at the window to see my step dad eyeing me hard. I took out my phone and dialed Maria's number and started to run. I called her 7 times and she never picked up. I stopped in front of a familiar house. Oh shit. This is my step dad's friend's house. I'm so screwed. I hear a door open and someone speak.

"Well Hello, Elena." He says as he slowly walks toward me.

I need to run but I can't. I can't run away from my problems. I back slowly away from him until I reach the edge of the sidewalk. At this point, I don't know what will happen. I hear a car pull into the driveway and my hands start to shake rapidly. Why does this have to happen to me? I close my eyes and feel someone grab me softly, pushing me to walk. I open my eyes and it's Maria. She signals me to get in the car. She gets in the driver's seat and locks the doors. She backs out of the driveway and drives fastly out.

"Maria? How did you know where I was?" I asked, still scared of what had happened to me.

"I put a GPS on your phone in case if you were in danger or something. It's not creepy right?" She says as we stop at the stop sign.

I look at her and smile. I don't find it creepy at all because she's my friend that looks out for me. We arrive at her house and my jaw dropped. I've never been to her house but this is epic. The property was fenced in with metal bars with spikes on top. On top of that, she has like 50 million bodyguards everywhere. The gate opens to reveal something I have never seen before. The house was three floors with white columns surrounding the doors, holding up the balcony above on the second floor. I was just completely mesmerized by the beauty of the house, shutting out everything around me.

"Hello? Come back to earth, Elena!" Maria says as I snap out of it.

"Sorry. I was just mesmerized by the house. It's really pretty." I say as she just smiles at me and gets out of the car.

I get out of the car and I felt like I was in a dream. This house is just so beautiful. She opened the door for me and I walked inside. At this point, I wanted to pass out from how pretty this house is. I looked around the house and threw myself on the couch.

"Are you hungry?" She asked as I turned on the TV.

"No. I'm just tired. That's all." I say as I walk over to the kitchen.

Maria was fixing herself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I watched her as she cut it in half. She smiled at me a signaled me to take the other half. I shook my head no and turned around, walking back to the living room.

"I have a bedroom upstairs for you in case of emergencies. Follow me." She says as she waves her hand, indicating me to follow her.

I follow her upstairs to the second floor. She leads me up this small staircase that lead to a door. We get to the door and she opens it revealing the most beautiful thing in the world. The room was teal with a gray shading. The bed had 4 pillows with a gray bed covering. The floor was an authentic mahogany. I walked into the room and fell on the bed. This must be a dream. It just has to be.

"Goodnight, Elena." Maria says as she closes the door. "The walls in the house are all sound proof." She yells from the door.

I smile to myself. Maria is the best thing I could ever ask for. I don't deserve her love and support. I close my eyes and tuck myself into bed. It was about 5 minutes later I feel heavy breathing on my neck. No, it's impossible for him to be here. How could he get past those bodyguards?

"Oh, Elena. You've been a bad girl. You know what that means. I'm going to have to punish you, princess." He says as he grabs me harshly, waking me up.

At this point, I'm really afraid of what he will do. He's capable of doing things to me that I can't stop him from doing. He's much stronger than me and I'm too weak to push him away. I see him take handcuffs from his pocket in his jeans. He walks over to me and grabs my hands. He cuffs my hands to the bed so I can't move. He rips the bed sheets off and throws them in the corner, leaving the white sheet on the bed. He starts to take his belt off and unbutton his pants. I scream internally because I already now what he's going to do. He gets on top of me and rips my crop top off. He slips his pants off and then takes his shirt off. Right now, I'm half naked and so is he. The last thing I remember was being blindfold.

"Enjoy it, princess. You might be able to walk after tonight." That was the last thing he said before I passed out cold.

You might be questioning why he does this. To be honest, I have no idea. He likes to see me suffer in pain. This is how my life is and it just gets worse by the second. I hate you.
