Meeting

No ones Pov:

Newt was one of the first to be at the meeting in the hall. As the rest of the Keepers and they're trusted second in commands. Newt had chosen lee to be his second as they came into the hut. The rest of the leaders sat down in front of them and Jack sat behind them twirling her dagger.

" Things are changing and we need to do something about Jack," Gally said as he stood in the center. " First Ben gets stung in broad daylight then Alby. Then our greeny here decides to go into the maze. That is a clear violation of our rules here." 

" Well, she did save Albys live and Minho." Fry pan said allowed. 

" But did I? I'm not really on eyebrows or your sides. I get both your points, but did I really save there lives?" She asked and Galley nodded to her a thanks.

" For three years we had been working together and she ruins it. she needs to be punished."

" Minho she talks to you more than me and everyone else. What do you think?" Newt asked

"Let's make her a runner. She put her life in danger so we could still have each other and a leader. So I think we make her a runner and have her spend 3 nights in the pits without food."  He said staring at her. The others stud up and started arguing about if she should or should not become a runner.

"GUYS SLIM IT."Jack started and everyone quieted down. "Now I know what I did was stupid and reckless. But who would you want to live Minho a guy who may know the maze or a stupid greeny who doesn't have a job? I know I won't fit all of the jobs because I'm good at them all. I agree with Minho's decision Newt gally and the other keepers just make me a runner and make me stay in the slammer at night for a week with no food or drink." She said looking at them.
"Jackrabbit wait outside as we make our decision. Please" Minho asked charismatic. She nodded and went outside she sat on the floor listening to the arguments inside and the birds chirping. After a while, they finally made a decision.
"Jack you will become a runner and if any shintheads happens well to keep you in the slammer for good," Gally said
She nodded before he left.
"Well that was dramatic." she sassed making everyone look at her. Minho took her quickly to the runner hut and started to tell her the rules of being a runner. He took off the sheet off the map explaining the outer section.
"Any questions?" He finished.
"Nope princess I'm ready to run." She replied
"I like the enthusiasm don't get sloppy." Minho started. "Jack why did you trade places with me. "
" because I have a giant crush on you and I didn't know what I would do without you so I change with you knowing the guys would need you more." She said looking down at her feet.
" I don't know what I would do without your sassy remarks. I...I-I love you Jack and I don't want you to do that again." He said as she nodded giving him a hug.
"I love you too Min," she said before he kissed her passionately on the lips with no warning. It was like fireworks going off.
"No, let's get you to your sleeping area for the next week," Minho said grabbing her hand. They made their way over to see the majestic eyebrows standing with one of the slammer doors open.  She looked amused as Eyebrows stood there impatiently.  She jumped in quickly before he could say anything. 

Chuck pov:

I went to dinner and ate quickly. I walked up to Frypan and asked for some bread and Polish sausages for Jack. He nodded and put it in her bandana. I tied it to my pant beltloop and went to clean the kitchens being a slooper that is one of the many chores I have to do. when the sun went down I pretended I was asleep in my hammock till Gally and Minho came back. I looked at Minho and saw a slight smirk on his face. HOLLY KLUNK MY SHIP HAS FINALLY HAPPENED I thought to my self. I got up and walked over to the slammers when I snapped a twig.

"Whos there?" I heard Jack whispered looking through the gate. 

"it's me. Here you run better on a full stomach."  I replied as I sat down giving her her bandana of food and a flask of galleys drink. 

" thanks, chuck hey what do you have there," Jack asked with a mouth full as I Showed my little relic.

" that turned out pretty good. who is it for," she questioned politely leaning to the door.

" for my family whoever they are." I said looking around. " what do you think you will find tomorrow?"

"I don't know Chuck," she said taking a drink.

"here," I said giving my little wooden boy to her.

" Why are you giving this to me?" I shrugged as i looked away.

" can't remember them anyway. I'm going to bed." with that I walked away. Within a few steps, she called me back.

"hold out your hand." SHe requested and she gave me back the Relic " you can give it to them. when we Do get out."

" Promise?'" I asked

" Promise." she said putting out her pinky and I locked mine with hers doing a pinky promise. " night chuck." She said before I left I smiled as I walked away to my big sister.  I finally went to sleep. 

Jacks Pov:

I woke up early to see the Sun Just starting to come over the Cement walls of torcher. I saw Min come over and crouch down. I smiled as I saw him. 

" Big day Jackrabbit are you sure you dont want to sit this one out." He said with a smirk making me laugh. 

" And miss all the Fun dance we get to do with grievers Oh Hell No," I said making him laugh. I tied my quiver of arrows to my leg and daggers placed in there a place on my pack. we grabbed our lunch and placed it into the bag. I placed my bandana in there to Just in case. We walked quickly to the door before it opened. I grabbed an arrow and connected it to the string. Being ready for my other Boyfriend the Grievers. All the other runners had the day off due to injuries or needing a break so it was just the two of us. 

"let's go." He said as we ran into the maze to the outer ring number 5. we walked till we saw a fork in the path. 

" I'll go right and you go left and if we get injured or have a boyfriend griever come along say Sea of fire," I said as he nodded I ran the right path till I saw a boyfriend griever. He was looking away. I Lifted the bow and drew the arrow back I breathed out and let go. The arrow went into his neck and he turned. Shit, I thought I ran back and grabbed another arrow sending it into one of the gears. 

"SEA OF FIRE" I yelled as I ran till I bumped into Min I dropped the arrow I grabbed it as the Griever came closer and shot at its again I got it in the eye making it blind. 

"you are some crazy sonofaBitch Jack. Come on.'' Min said grabbing his machete.  As we ran I heard the maze start to change. Shit was too late to the door. we ran all the way to the door were I herd frypan yell. 

" guys are you there." 

" yeah tell the others we are ok and we will be out in the morning." 

"Good That be safe," Fry yelled back before he ran off. 

" Shh listen." I said " this way." I ran to the left then took a quick right.
