Mari POV
I spent the night with Anthony. I didn' want to leave him alone. About an hour before we went to sleep, he was back to his happy self. I could see that he would not be happy until Ian was back. I was going to try and play Cupid. God I hope I don't mess things up even more.
"Hey Anthony, can I ask you something?"
"You just did." He giggles.
"Wow, really dude? Really?" I can't help but giggle a little. "You know what I mean!'
"Go for it."
"Where do you think Ian went?" I ask hoping he has some sort of clue.
"I don't know, but most likely he went to his mom's house." He says it in the most monotone voice i have ever heard.
"Oh ok." I say. I didn't know how t o respond to his answer, but the look in his eyes showed he was hurt. "Well we should get some sleep. Good night." He says getting up and going to his room.
I woke up early in the morning and headed over to Ian's mom's house. During the car ride I was trying to figure out what I was going to say. Well I guess I have to tell him the truth. When I park and get out of the car, I see Ian looking out of the window. He looks so miserable. I frown but quickly smile at him and he just waves.
IPOV
Why is Mari here? Does she know about what happened? She just frowned. Do I really look that crappy right now? I wave to her after she replaces the frown with a smile. "This is going to be fun." I sigh and close the curtains, dropping my head slightly. I unlock the door just as she reaches it. We went and sat down in the backyard to talk.
"Ian, what's wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost."
"Nothing." So she doesn't know? "How did you know I was here?" I ask seriously wanting to know.
"Anthony guessed you'd be here." I sigh figuring Anthony called her and told her everything that had happened. Now both of them hate me. "I don't hate you Ian" She says right after I thought about it. "and neither does Anthony." She states a little bit on edge. She knows something. I am staring at her as if what she's not telling me is written on her forehead in a language i didn't understand.
"Ian! Hello Ian. Earth to Ian." She's waving a hand in front of my face. I blink my eyes noticing they had dried. "Ian you zoned out. What where you thinking about?"
"What aren't you telling me?" I blurt out too fast for me to phrase it differently or put it in a different tone. I sigh. "Mari, I know Anthony told you about what happened. I know you talked to him. I can tell you are hiding something from me, and......." I trail off not knowing how to finish the sentence. I look up and see she has a smile on her face. She leans in so I could feel her breathe in my ear. "You have to go back home and talk to Anthony if you want to know." She whispers in my ear. I sit there in silence just looking at her in disbelief. She knows something and is making me go home to talk to Anthony about what she knows!?!?! "But...." She cuts me off with "I'm not telling you. The sky is a very pretty shade of blue today. I LOVE it." What the Firetruck! She just stressed love. Ok this girl is good. Gah women can get guys to do or admit anything. She smirks and leans back in her chair.
"GAH! Fine I'll go talk to Anthony." I scowl at her in defeat, while she smiles and claps her hands. She is so weird. We get up and I leave my mom a note saying I went home to talk to Anthony. After I left the note in the living room, Mari and I left to go to my house.
There was one thing i knew for sure about Anthony. I want to be back with him like when we were experimenting. I knew that he was my other half when we first met but I can now admit it.
