Emma POV -BEEP BEEP BEEP- my alarm went off. "Ugh" I sigh not wanting to get out of bed and go to school. I get out of bed because I have too😒. I walk downstairs and said good morning to my mom. I pour myself some cereal and then I check Instagram. Once I'm done, I go upstairs to get ready. I put on a black spaghetti strap cropped tank top, with some ripped jeans, and some white sneakers (Looks like this but without the purse)

As I finish getting ready, I hear my doorbell ring and I go to answer it. I open the door to see my best friend Ethan Dolan. Ethan has a twin brother named Grayson and all three of us are best friends. Before school they always pick me up because we live right next door to each other. I've known Ethan and Grayson science we were in diapers because our parents are best friends. We grew up together and they were like the brothers I never had. Except Ethan. Ethan was not like a brother to me, he was more than that. I've always had a tiny crush on him, I guess. But nobody knows. Everyone in our "popular group" you could call it, shipped us together. But we always insist that we are just friends. And I also couldn't tell Ethan I had feelings for him, because we are both in relationships. Even though I hate my boyfriend. He kind of scares me..actually really scares me , he has a very bad temper and lashed out at me a lot. But I haven't told anyone because I didn't want to seem like a pussy. I also am still with him because I'm trying to get my mind off of Ethan. (Btw she isn't thinking this right now she is just telling her "story" with Ethan. Back to the present when the twins are picking up Emma) "Hey Emma!" Ethan says kindly. I give him a hug and say "What's up E" then we both walk to the car and get in. "Hey Gray!" I day "Hi Em!" Then the rest of the ride we just talk about how life has been until we pull up to school. Out of nowhere Ethan picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. Everyone started at us in our group and looks at us while laughing. "ETHAN GRANT DOLAN! PUT ME DOWN!!" I say while laughing. "EMMA FRANCES CHAMBERLAIN!! NO!" He says back. "Fuck you" I say and start repeatedly punching his pack. "He finally puts me down and pretends to cry. "Aww, did I hurt little e-tee-wee-tee-e" I say while laughing a lot. Then Meredith (Ethan's slutty girlfriend) walks up to me and says "hey baby." To Ethan. He just looks at her awkwardly and says "hey." Then to break the silence I say "imma go now, bye E." I say and hug him. "Bye Em," he replies. Then I walk away and Meredith comes up to me and grabs my arm aggressively. "You don't think Ethan actually like you, do you?" She says rudely. "Oh honey, You don't think he actually likes you?? Do you!" I say back snarking. Then I just walked away and laughed. I could practically feel Meredith's glare but I didn't care. Then I start walking over to James,Ellie,Hannah,and Olivia. I say "What's up bitches!" "Hey Emma!" They all say. Then we all start talking and the bell rings like 5 mins later. "Ugghhhhhhhh" Hannah says. "Whelp, time to go to hell! I'll see you soon." I say to all of them because we all have the same class first period. I go to my locker to get my things and then I fell someone behind me. The. Forcefully grab my neck and push me onto their lips. I pull away and see Adam (boyfriend) "Adam, not right now." I say and walk to class. The whole time I'm walking to class I'm looking down because I don't want to cry. I hate him. He hits me. I haven't told anyone yet though because he threatened my family, my friends, and the twins. I'd never let anyone I live get hurt, so I just deal with it. I just keep walking until I feel a tap in my shoulder. "Em, you ok." My eyes are filled with tears but I just wipe them off and say "I'm fine". Although I'm really not. I walk away and go into class. I see that we have new assigned seats. I look for my name. When I find it I look to see who I'm next to. Then I see Ethan's name. "Shit" I mutter.
