His Baby

Part 14 - His Promise

         Lorenzo and I have been for six weeks and I couldn't be happier although over the last two weeks we have hardly seen each other. He has been working with directors about the project he originally came to the University for and me I have been busy with school work.

        Right now I am on my way back to my dorms after a long day of lectures. All I want to do right now is soak in the bath tub while taking to Enzo on the phone, I don't think I have the strength to do much more than that.

I miss him so much but I know he has to work and his vocation is soon up as it is he won't be down the road all the time.

        Reaching my dorm, I went straight to my room and did just as I said. I closed my door, put my bag and books by my desk and started taking off my close as I slowly strut righto the bathroom. Fulling my tub with the right temperature water and threw a bath bomb in. After the bath bomb dissolved I turned on some smooth music then slowly stepped in, submerging in the water I closed my eyes and I sighed.

Later that night

Later that night Lorenzo surprised me by taking me out for a night under the stars. It was so romantic and breathtaking.

"It's so beautiful here" I told him looking in awe.

"Yes extremely beautiful" he said looking right at me.

        I turned my face away from him as my face is bright red as a tomato. This guy makes me so shy, I can't believe I felt for this man in just a short time, buy my mom always said that "when the right one comes along, there's no time limit when you fall in love".

         Laying down in between his legs, we embraced each other and talked for hours about all that we have been missing in each other's lives in the last two weeks. We ate from the basket of foods we brought, feeding each other, laughing and being silly together. I love being in love under the night sky with my man.

        Suddenly he pulled away from me standing up. He then held his hand out for me to take then pulling me to stand in front of him. Wondering what's going on I looked at him with confusion and curiosity on my face, he pulled out a black box and got on his knees in front of me.

Thinking what the fuck is he doing we've only together a short time and from the expression I am making he said "it's not what you think".

He opened the box showing me a silver ring that has 'Be Mine Forever' engraved on the band.

         He looked at my face then said "This is a promise ring from me to you. To show my dedication to you and my ultimate oath that I will not hurt you and that you're the only woman that has made me feel as if I could have more than one night stands but someone I see a future with someone I can see having a family with. I may be new to relationships but I am willing to try for, I am willing to do anything for you so Nina Ali Walters will you be my baby girl?" holding my hand in his.

"Lorenzo I would be honored to be called yours" I said squealing and jumping up and down.

He picked me up and spun me around after making me completely dizzy then he placed the ring on a silver chain kissed my neck and placed it around it.

          Suddenly the rain started to pour down on us but we didn't care we just did a cliché thing and kiss in the rain. Looking in my eye he said "now you everyone knows your mine and you can't leave". I looked at him and his expression says he is remembering a painful memory so I say to him very sincerely "I won't baby".

"You promise" he says which sounded more like he is pleading with me. He looks like he is having an internal battle.

"I'll never leave you if you don't give me a reason to" I told him, hugging him.

I wanted to know what painful memory he was reliving but I can tell he wasn't ready to talk yet. I just thoroughly kissed him intertwining my fingers together.

Getting soaked from the rain, we packed up everything then went back to the car; where he begin to drive me back to my dorm.
