At 6:02pm exactly, all the cell doors buzzed open. Every night at this time, our cell doors open. It was a routine that was never broken. It was the little bit of freedom that we had left. Gisselle and I picked all of our things in our small bags and slung them over our shoulders before getting in line with the rest of the kids to go outside.

Luckily, our cell was in one of the hallways that was closest to the exit door.

As soon as we stepped outside, we glanced around before briskly walking to the edge of the court yard.

I was roughly 10 meters away when an extremely tall blonde boy stepped in front of me. I glanced at Gisselle and motioned for her to continue and that I'd meet her there, in which she nodded back and left.

"Liam Stewart." I glowered up at the boy, trying to hide my smile.

"Samantha Hart." He smirked down at me.

"So, why did Dylan request you in the front? Last time I checked you haven't used your powers in years." He asked me, stepping closer to me as his boots crunched against the snow.

I stared up at him, his cheeks tinted red from the cold air around us, his ocean colored eyes stared down at me. If this was going to work, Liam needed to know, no matter how dangerous it could be. I took a deep breathe, yet before I could speak, I felt hands latch onto the back of my shirt before shoving me forward.

I stumbled and fell into Liam, who quickly grabbed me by the waist.

"Hey! Don't touch her!" Liam barked out, helping me stand before stepping in front of me.

I turned around to be face to face with Ashton Parker, a nuisance of a yellow; one of the only teenage yellows here.

My hands started to shake and heat up, and I knew I needed to cool down before I could jeopardize the plan.

"So, Hart, I heard you had a little run in with my sister last week." He said, glaring down at me as I stayed slightly behind Liam.

I knew I could take care of myself, however, no one else here besides Dylan West, Gisselle, and two others know my secret. And I needed it to be kept that way.

"Oh, did you now? You see, the funny thing is is that that's not possible. I was in solitary all of last week. So nice try, but no, yet again you have nothing to hold against me." I shrugged, suppressing a smirk.

"If I hear another rumor that you tried anything against daisy-" Ashton took a few steps towards me before Liam used one hand to shove him back a few feet.

"Go ahead, douche, finish that sentence. Do we want a repeat of last time you threatened Sam? Cause I can jog your memory if you'd like." Liam snapped out, stepping closer to Ashton, his eyes beginning to turn the bright blue color they were when he used his powers.

If we weren't in a dangerous situation right now, I'd be thinking that Liam was extremely hot at this moment; I mean he is; but I needed to focus on calming him down.

"Hey, Lee, calm down. I'm fine. He didn't try anything this time. Let's just go." I tried reasoning, my hands; which have been cooled off for a while now; reached out to his arm.

"Yeah, 'Lee', run away with your useless blue girlfriend. Why don't you? It's not like she's worth anything-" he cut himself off as Liam clenched his jaw, his eyes turning bright blue as he started to lift Ashton off of the ground.

"Lee no!" I yelped, grabbing him and with all my strength, I pulled him behind the utilities shed as Ashton fell to the ground.

"Hey, you cant keep doing this for me. You're going to get yourself in trouble and possible hurt." I whispered, glancing up at his eyes that were still bright blue, "Hey...hey, calm down it's okay. I'm okay."

"I-i can't, he shoved you and I couldn't do anything." He was shaking now, rocks and twigs on the ground were starting to levitate. He was loosing control. "Sam, he put his hands on you, he threatened you. And I couldn't do anything about it."

Just as I was about to speak, I saw a PSF walking towards us. If he saw Liam using his powers, Liam will be reprehended immediately and sent to isolation where they'd hurt him. Then the plan wouldn't work, and he would be in pain which I couldn't allow.

"You need to calm down Lee, a PSF is coming..." yet he couldn't hear me. I could tell just from his clenched jaw and fists that he was replaying the scene over and over again.

Sighing, I racked my brain to think of anything that could help. I started to panic as nothing was coming to mind before I remember a tv show I used to watch.

In that tv show, the girl had to calm down the guy who was having an panic attack.

Bingo.

Grabbing his face gently with the palms of my hands, I pulled him down a little as I stood on my toes and pressed my lips against his.

Instantly, the rocks and twigs clattered to the ground as Liam unclenches his fists and wrapped his arms around my waist.

Fire immediately ignited between us as my eyes fluttered shut, Liam pulling me as close as possible as he kisses me back harder.

"Hey! You two! Get out from behind the shed!" A PSF shouted.

After a few seconds we pulled away and i stared up at Liam's ocean eyes as he stared down at my brown eyes.

Liam stared down at me in shock for a good minute before I grabbed his hand and pulled him back into the crowd.

I just had my first kiss, and it was with Liam Stewart.

I dragged him through the crowd before coming to a stop in front of Gisselle and Dylan.

"What took you guys so long? We only have 10 more minutes!" Gisselle exclaimed.

Liam gulped and glanced down at me, his ears tinged red.

"Oh you know, the usual. Just Ashton Parker being a dick as per usual." I rolled my eyes and Gisselle narrowed her eyes at me, knowing I was lying.

"Really? Did he do anything? I'll kick his ass, or make him kick his own ass." Dylan growled out, stepping forward only to have Gisselle hold him back.

"No it's okay, i think Liam scared him enough for him to back off." I grinned, nudging Liam who chuckled slightly, glancing down at me with a look in his eyes that I've never seen before.

"Okay, did you tell Lee yet?" Gisselle asked me.

"Tell me what?" Liam asked with a confused tone.

"We don't have time, she'll tell you on the outside if you don't see it." Dylan said before staring at the ground, his eyes glowing a bright orange as he sent a message out.

"It's time" was what was sent to all of our minds.

I smirked and looked up at Liam to find him already looking down at me.
