Sometimes I think he'd forget his head if it wasn't attached.

                              Six - Christian
"Mitchel," I said in a slightly irritated tone. "it's over here, dumb." A smile cracked my lips as I held up the lyric book, watching as his braids flicked up when his head shot to see me from the opposite side of the bus. Gleefully skipping over, he snatched the book from my fingers. "Stop stealing my shit." He chuckled, plopping his ass right beside me on the little couch.

We heard a little groan from the back of the bus and my girlfriend walked out. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a messy bun, obviously slept on after a long night. "Fuck." She wore one of my shirts- which was way too big on her little five foot body- and her make up was smeared all around her bright blue eyes making her look like a little raccoon.

I smiled and waved her over and pulled her on my lap with a slight kiss to her cheek. "So," a grin peeled my lips slightly as I looked over at my best friend. "whats going on with this lady friend?" Wiggling my eyes at him mercilessly. He hit my arm softly.

"It's nothing, Christian." Mitchels voice was tired and slightly irritated. I could tell that he didn't wanna tell me. "I don't know yet, but I don't know if I can even do any new relationships because of-..." His phone beeped and he gave a soft smile and quickly typed back to whoever had messaged him.

I wasn't an idiot...okay maybe a little- but not about this kind of thing. I knew for more than a fact that he was interested in this girl, whoever she was. It was written all over him like an open book. Honestly, it was nice to see him so exited about a person- especially a girl. After his last relationship, a lot of us were convinced he was swearing off love forever.

A few years back- Mitty was in a pretty serious relationship with some bitch we don't talk about anymore. Clinton hated her more than the rest of us did- which might be saying something. She was a beautiful, young thing- dark black hair, long legs, thin sides. Yanno- the edgy ones that everyone likes for some reason. But she had more than daddy issues, she was damn near psychotic and made everything toxic...but he was in love. She argued with everything he said or did and at one point almost cost us our best friend and lead singer. When we finally sat him down and talked to him, he realized what was really going on. I honestly thought he was going to leave us because of how bad he felt about leaving her.

Love is hard, it's difficult, it's stressful. But it's beautiful, rewarding, and blissful.

No one could blame him for being in love. No one could blame him for being upset that it was over. But maybe now he can see how a true love can feel. Maybe this girl will give him what he needs to know that love isn't a bad thing.

Maybe she can bring him home.
