On my way to sound check I get a little distracted. Just imagining becoming a dad and giving a kid a second shot at having a family. It's all so overwhelming exciting at the same time!! From time to time I doubt katelynn, and I fear she'll lash out on me once I bring our new son or daughter home. But I know Kate wouldn't do that. After coming back to reality, I park my car and enter the building. Inside I see Justin, Gabe, and Nick (it's just how the band is right now the 4 amigos :]) J-about fucking time kellin, what took you so long?
K- sorry, got side tracked with the whole adoption stuff you know?
G-oof, is Kate on board with all of this?
K- yes, I was super shocked at first but I'm really happy !!
N- that's great man, cmon guys let's get this sound check over with!

Alex POV:
As me and Audrey wait for the family to get here to look and choose someone, Audrey's hand tightens around mine ( A/N let's just say they were holding hands ye)
Alex- hey it's okay we'll be fine
Audrey- yea I know I'm just....nervous you know?
Alex- yea I get it
As soon as I say that this group of guys enter the orphanage. But not just any group of guys.... SLEEPING WITH SIRENS!!!! okgomglmgm it's freaking sleeping with sirens!! 😰😍 they're Audrey's favorite band, I wonder what's she's thinking right now.

Audrey's POV

Nerves start building up and I tighten my grip on Alex's hand for reassurance. Alex makes me feel sane, normal, okay.
Alex- hey it's okay we'll be fine
Me-yea I know, I'm just.....nervous you know?
Alex-yea I get
As soon as he finishes his phrase some dudes enter the orphanage. And you won't believe who it was. ITS FUCKING SLEEPING WITH SIRENS . Omg SLEEPING WITH SIRENS IS IN THE SAME AS ME , IM IN THE SAME ROOM AS SLEEPING WITH SIRENS!! 😭😭😻😻. I feel myself starting to have a panic attack from all this excitement so I start taking deep breaths until I'm calm again. Omg maybe today will be Alex and I's lucky day and get adopted. But I better not get my hopes up :/

Kellin POV

After sound check the guys and i head out to eat at five guys. Not gonna lie they're burgers are AMAZING 🔥🔥. On our way back we start talking about the whole adoption thing again.
Nick- So kellin you know who you wanna adopt? Like boy/girl? Age? All that stuff?
Me- honestly no, I don't really care what they are, just gotta have that connection. As for age I was hoping to find someone between 14-17.
Justin- that's cool, are you gonna go with Kate?
Me- actually about that, I was wondering if you guys would like to come with me to go find someone at the orphanage. That way y'all can get to know eachother, since you guys are going to be his/her uncles.
And I kid you not for like 5 minutes it's dead silent.

Gabe- are you kidding?! I'd love too!
Nick and Justin- fuck yea!
Me- really?! Omg awesome. Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!!.

Once at The Chicago orphanage for boys and girls, we get out of Gabe's car and head in. As soon as we enter the two kids toward the back catch my eye, ones wearing our merch and the guys wearing an asking Alexandria shirt. Once were all inside all the kids go quite and I notice those two from earlier get all excited to see us, cute. The head lady then takes us to her office and asks me the basic questions about who I wanna adopt and what age group blah blah blah. So I tell her the same thing I told Nick, gender doesn't matter, but for age i want someone between 14-17. After that she tells everyone younger that 14 to go back to their rooms. And the two kids with the merch have this hopeful look in their eyes.

Justin POV

When we enter these two kids with merch one notice us and get all giddy from seeing us. The girl has one of our shirts one. Not gonna lie she's pretty hot, but she's way to young, and I'm not trying to catch a case anytime soon. I notice the guy next to her holding her hand. Maybe they're siblings, or boyfriend/girlfriend. Really hope kellin picks her she seems like she's been through a lot.

Audrey POV

As soon as the head lady told us only kids ages 14-17 I felt Alex's hand tighten around mine. And I lowkey did the same, I mean this could be our chance to finally get out of here!! But I'm going to try to not get my hopes up. Because if I or we both get chosen we know we'll be returned a week after. That's what usually happens. A couple likes one of us, takes us home, gets to know us and then one way or another we end up back here in the orphanage a week later. Due to " being a bad influence on their kids". Bullshit, the only reason they take us back is because the second they hear the music I like, they think I'm a satanic worshiper so they take me back. It sucks really. So let's try not to get my hopes up...

When the lady said ages 14-17 I tighten my grip on Audrey's hand, like reassuring her that we'll be okay, and we might have a chance. She's been through a lot. In and out of homes, hardly lasts a week whenever she gets adopted. I honestly don't know why she's always brought back, she's so nice and great with kids. But I guess families don't see that. I really hope kellin or whoever is adopting chooses Audrey. But let's not get our hopes up.

Omg hi it's been what a whole month since my last update. I'm so sorry I suck. But hey I have finals so imma get some more updates in. Hopefully the rest of this week and next week.
