19~Police Trouble

Prerna's POV:
I finally proposed him and when I knelt down with the ring box and tried opening it, it broke into two pieces and he laughed, I just pretended to be angry but still he didn't stop laughing, I proposed him without the ring only, then the passionate hug took place. Suddenly two goons approached us, we got into a funny fight, well he kissed my hand when I pretended to be hurt. He's so sweet. When he said, Amisha ji was also missing over there, shock took over me as to who's she and he told me by dancing.

Last night was my life's most funniest day ever. We both proposed each other by the rings and finally we went to the hotel and slept on the same bed. Well who cares? We signed in here as if we are co stars, only we knew that we are soon to be husband and wife. I woke up and saw Anurag next to me, I knew that wasn't a dream, he was checking his phone. I smiled and sat up keeping my head on his shoulder. "Baby, ab kiske message check kar rahay ho? Main to yahan hoon na?" (Baby now whose messages are you checking? I am here only, right?)

He chuckled. "I was just checking if mom or dad called," he said and I smiled. "Prerna, need to take a shower," he said and I thought of a mischief. "Together?" I asked and he laughed. "Pagli," (mad girl) he said. "Main pagli thori hoon (I m not mad) , main bloody fool hoon (I am a bloody fool) , yaad hai? (Remember?) Usdin tumne mujhe bloody fool kaha tha?" (You called me a bloody fool that day?) I asked looking up at him and he nodded. "Tum harkatein hi aisi kar rahi thi (you were behaving in such a way) , couldn't help but irritate you back," he said laughingly. "But instead get irritated yourself," I said and laughed along with him, he stood up from the bed.

"I will come just in two minutes," he said and I nodded and he went. After a lot of time, he was about to come outside, I smiled and pretended to sleep. I heard the click of the door. "Prerna!" he called out for me and I sat up. "What?" I said. "Towel," he said and I slapped my forehead and looked around, finally found it and gave it to him turning my back of course and went to the bed again. I got Shivu's call and received it. "Hallo sweetu," I said smilingly. "Hallo di, you reached?" she asked.

"Kab ka yaar Shivu," (for a long time Shivu) I said. "Di, you could've told me, I was so tensed," she said. "You're always tensed for me more than mumma and papa," I said getting annoyed as I recalled that man I was about to marry. I heard Anurag come out. "Di, sorry they didn't knew anything, I found out by my contacts," she said apologetically. "Hmm, I wonder if they even love me," I said squeezing my eyes tightly. "Di, Kya keh rahi ho? (What are you saying?) Of course they do, and you went there, no problem occurred, right? Where's Anurag? He's with you, right?" she asked.

"Hmm, he's with me, bohat maza aya last night," (we had a lot of fun last night) I said laying back and saw Anurag was already there. "Why what happened?" she asked mischievously. "Pagli, I will tell after I come home," I said and she chuckled. "Love you di," she said. "Love you too," I said.

Anurag's POV:
I watched her as she talked on the phone and smiled and after sometime disconnected the call. "Listen Prerna, next week, Cabir's birthday is already coming, and I see you both sisters are very attached, usse uski birthday par tumhari sister gift kardein?" (How about we gift your sister to him?) I asked playing around with her laughingly.

"Hain?" (What?) she said. "Matlab un dono ki setting karatay hain (let's do their setting) , what say? Dekho dono pehle hi singers hain (both are already singers) , ziada mehnat hogi hi nahi (there won't be much hard work) , haina? (Right?) " I asked and she laughed. "I m serious, main ne Cabir ko bol bhi diya," (I even told Cabir) I said. "Huh, bola kisne?" (Who said to him?) she asked. "Maine," (me) I told her. "Or setting karani kisko hai?" (And who wants to do their setting?) She asked raising her eyebrows. "Mujhe," (me) I said and she chuckled. "Toh phir handle bhi tum hi karo na yaar," (so you should also be the one to handle all this) she said pressing her lips into a thin line. "Huh?" I said in a shock. "Main tamasha dekhne ke liye tayaar hoon," (I m ready to see the mess created by you) she said laughingly.

"Ok, lekin maine to Cabir se bola hi nahi," (but I didn't told Cabir) I said telling her the truth and she narrowed her eyes at me and hit me with a cushion. "Bohat achhay ho tum tease karne mein," (you're very good at teasing) she said and laughed. "Tumse hi to seekha hai, (I have learnt by you only) after all, bloody fool," I said teasing her more and she hit me with the pillow again and stood up from the bed walking to the washroom. "Dekho sambhaal ke jao, (be careful) giri to main nahi aaunga bachanay," (if u fall I won't come to save you) I said laughingly as the washroom was wet. "Hmmm dekhtay hain," (let's see) she said and walked inside and slipped suddenly.

"Oh shoot," I said and ran to her before she touched the ground. She had her eyes closed but slowly she opened them meeting them with mine and pushed me away straightening herself. "Agaye na bachanay, you can't win over me, ullll," (look you came to save me) she said and closed the door. I slapped my forehead, it was just her trick, mom would be so happy getting such a jolly daughter in law who made her son also the same. Later she came out with her face wet. "Prerna, we have to go back, come let's go, we will have to go together in my car now."

"Oh nooo!" she said slapping her forehead. "Arey yaar ab Kya hua?" (Now what happen?) I asked. "Yesterday I came in my car only, and because of traffic, I left in in the middle of traffic and slid over the cars, I told you, didn't I? Then I came in your diggy to get to you, now police trouble is waiting next," she said worriedly and I placed my hands on her shoulders. "Relax, I m there na, let's go," I said and we went from the hotel room and locked it and gave back the keys to the receptionist.

We went out and sat in my car and I drove off and came where Prerna said that her car was. We stepped down after stopping the car at a side and saw that the police was checking the car, we looked at each other and went forward. "Inspector, this car belongs to me," Prerna said a little worried. "And what's the reason to leave it in the middle of the road?" he asked. "There was traffic and I had to run due to emergency, forgot to lock it," she said. "That's no reason, you will have to come with us to police station."

"No no, why? For such a small reason?" she asked. "Yes, that's no reason to arrest her, Prerna show him your licence and clear this matter," I said and she did so. "You'll have to pay the invoices," he said. "Inspector, I have to go to the hospital, mumma is pregnant, she needs me," she said faking to be crying. "Yes I will make him understand," I said and she shook her head. "Tum rehne do, in sab maamlo'n ke liye tum bachay ho," (you leave it, you're a kid for all these matters) she said and I stood at a side. She took her phone and pretended to be talking to her mother. "Mumma, oh don't scream, take deep breaths, I m coming." And that's when her phone rung and I laughed. "Shivu ka call," (Shivu's call) she told me and I shrugged. Inspector came forward and started to handcuff her. "Anu help," she said totally tensed. "Why should I? I am baby for all this, no?" I asked and laughed. "Anu please help kardo na yaar nahi to jail me aa kar shahdi karna, (Anu please help else you will have to marry me in the jail) I hate you Anurag," she said pretending to be crying like a baby and I chuckled. "Inspector leave her," I said. "Aray aap to famous singer Anurag Basu hain na? (Oh so you are the famous singer Anurag Basu, right?) Theek hai, aapke kehne par chhor Raha Hoon, (ok, I m letting this matter go on your saying) ainda aisa nahi hona chahiye," (this shouldn't happen again) he said and uncuffed her hands.

Prerna sat in her car and I sat in my car and brought my car adjacent to hers and we drove from there back to Mumbai. We reached and went to Prerna's house. She unlocked the door and we went inside hand in hand, Shivani saw us and came to her and excitedly hugged her. "Diii, I missed you," Shivani said to her.

"I missed you too, thank you Shivani, if you wouldn't have been there, my life would've been a mess," Prerna said smilingly hugging her back. "But I m there na," Shivani said and they chuckled. "Waise Shivu, oh Shivani, do you know that Prerna makes such nice songs, like Anu tu to bewafa hai, jeevan ki kaali ghata hai," (by the way Shivu, oh I mean Shivani) I said and we all started to laugh. "Jeeju, what can I get you? Tea? Coffee?" she asked me and now was the time to tease Prerna more. "The weather is too hot just like your sister, well, iced tea would be good."

We all again started to laugh and Shivani went from there and came after sometime with iced tea for both of us. "By the way, at her marriage day, I came inside by window and went by window but she didn't dare to ask me for tea or coffee, seekho zara kuchh seekho is se," (learn something from her) I said dramatically and we all again had a good laugh.
