Noodle thinks it's stupid that people have theories about why her hair color was purple in phase 2. She obviously dyed her hair. She did it by herself. She wanted to have colored hair like 2-D. Now that she's older, she cringes at the dyed hair and her hair cut itself due to it being so choppy and uneven.
