me and a dare not mention his name has been texting ever since the night my sister had ordered ice cream and me being light when it comes to drinking didn't help. i felt so bad i would just drink . the worse thing i cant even cover it up with a party . ever since my sister and Josh have been a 'thing' i use that term as loose as you can imagine; no parties have been planned . I'm meeting Lucas today , haven't seen him in ages . Skylar hasn't talked to him in ages , no idea why. probably because he moved out with this girl; which to be honest , wont last.

"is he coming soon?" Skylar looks at her phone.

"who?" i question.

"Lucas"she said rolling her eyes .

"yeah" 

"Josh will be coming soon " she makes a pushed smile.

"whats wrong?"i again questioned 

"hes always on his phone ,texting, i think hes seeing another girl" she signed 

"or a boy" i muffled under my breath

"what?"

"do you want to ask him about it ?its probably nothing.do you want me to ask him for you?"

"jesus christ , anyone would think youre gulity" she laughs away , joined with my nervous giggle."im going to ask him when  he comes , don't worry about it Oliver"

i felt so unsettled . He can't shut his mouth to save his life .

"here he is" she said while Lucas came through the door. she then went to the door and before slamming it on herself she said "Josh will be here in about 20 mins, i'll ask"

confused , lucas just sits down next to me on the sofa. 

"what was all that about?" 

"just josh"

"i hate that guy" Lucas said , snearing at the door. when he said that it gave me such joy that someone thought the same ; however i was texting him so i must not hate his guts.

"i haven't seen you in ages anyway, why did you urgently want to talk ?"

"well"Lucas says playing with his hands , trying to talk."you know Sarah?"

"yes i've heard about Sarah"

"what you heard about her?did Skylar tell you?"he then lays his head in his hands and signs.

"she hasn't told me anything, i just know you live with her"

"i bet you have cleaned my bedroom up by now" Lucas laughed nervously. i smirked back and asked "why are you here?"

"Sarah"he puts his fingers through his hair"well , Sarah's"he stairs at the floor"pregnant"

"oh , i see"

"Skylar said it wasn't mine , i can't believe she believes Josh more than me "

"it's going to be fine , even if it isn't yours . you'll be fine"

"thanks brother, you have always been there for me" he punched me lightly."i wish i was good at that for you"

"you do your best , i wouldn't worry. not much is wrong with me"i lied through my teeth

"you seem to be the only one to have common sense"

"please make it up to Skylar , shes having a hard time"

"i'll try" he leaned in for a hug"i've missed you" he whispeared.

"i've missed you too. we need to plan another party one day"

"soon"he winked .
