Kate's POV
It was a bright, sunny day. Lydia and I were at my house sitting around talking about guys and other girly things. We had nothing to do at all, except watch T.V and chat. So I turned on the radio and heard that there was a contest to win 4 tickets to the next One Direction concert. I figured since we had nothing to do I might as well try to win. Turning the radio up, I heard the number you have to call. "Call 888-254-5675, and be caller number 5 to win the tickets. BUT you have to get our trivia question correct. Call Now." I pick up the phone and dial the number they said. I was thinking in my head I wasn't going to be caller number 5, because I know I'm not lucky. But then I hear the man speak and he tells me that I am caller number 5!
He says, "The question you have to answer in order to get the tickets is...Who is the youngest and the oldest in the group?"
In reply to his question I said, "The youngest is Harry Styles, and the oldest is Louis Tomlinson...?"
The man paused and said, " You are correct! Congratulations! You won 4 tickets to the next One Direction concert! Just go online and enter your information to get the tickets mailed to you."
"Okay! Thanks! Goodbye!" I said.
"Bye," he said.
Inside I was so excited! I could not wait! I had to tell Lydia!!

"Oh my God! Lydia!" I exclaimed.
"What is it Kate?" Lydia replied.
"I just won 4 tickets to a One Direction concert next week!!" I screamed in reply. Never in my whole life have I imagined going to a One Direction concert. When I looked at Lydia's face, she looked very shocked. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad so I asked.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Lydia said in reply, "I just can't believe this is real!"
"Neither can I Lydia," I added. Now to decide who I want to bring with me to the concert. I have a lot of friends that would love to go see One Direction, so it's going to be hard to pick out 3 friends. I know for sure that I am gonna bring Lydia because she already knows about the tickets, and it would be rude of me to not invite her.
"Who ya gonna bring?" She said with a smirk.
In reply I said, "I don't know yet. I have so many friends that adore One Direction."
"Yeah it's probably going to take you a while to choose...Well it's getting late I better get going," she said.
"Okay. Hope you get a good sleep," I said as she closed the door.
Lydia's POV
Honestly I was afraid Kate wouldn't invite me. I didn't know if she was going to invite friends she hasn't hung out with in a while, or if she was just gonna invite her regular friends she hangs out with all the time. I didn't want to ask if I could go because I didn't want to sound greedy.
A few days later I got a call from Kate.
"Ring! Ring! Ring!" Went the telephone.
I picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"
The anonymous caller replied saying, "Hey Lydia! It's Kate."
It's Kate! Maybe she's calling me to tell me she wants me to come? But why so early?
"Good morning Kate," I said.
"Would you like to come to the concert with me?" Kate wondered.
"Absolutely!!" I screamed.
"Wonderful. I'll be picking everyone up at 12 P.M. because the concert is at 1 P.M. and we would want to be on time since it takes 45 minutes to get there," Kate stated.
"What day is the concert on?" I asked.
"Oh I forgot to tell you, it's on Tuesday," she said.
"Ok! I will be ready to go then! But one more question, who is all going?" I said.
"You, Sheila, Tasha, and I," she answered.
"Sweet!" I exclaimed.
"Well I have to go call the others. Bye Lydia," she stated.
After we hung up I kept thinking in my head, "I can't believe this is actually happening!" I was very happy. Who wouldn't be happy if One Direction concert was in 2 days?
