When we fight our hearts to prevent ourselves from falling in love,the battle is inevitably lost. The heart is already lost,long before the realization strikes.

Rajveer stole a look at Naina,sitting in the passenger seat of his car. Even though he was the ond who had practically forced her to come with him,he still wished that she had refused. He knew she would not have,just the way he could feel that she was excited,sitting there in the car,next to him.

Ever since he had first met her,he had been trying to fight the instant attraction he felt towards her. He was not a man who believed in love,or more importantly,trusted it. He did not think that he is capable of loving. If they kept meeting,their professional relationship would eventually develop into more. They would reach a certain poimt where there will be nothing in his hand to control. And he does not want that... for His Sake and for Her......

Naina- hum log kaha jaa rahe hai????

Rajveer- Marriott

Naina- oh..hum lunch k liye jaa reh hai???

Rajveer- maine to wohi aapko kehte huye suna...

Naina- kind of.. par mujhe nhi pata tha aap chup chup ke meri baateon sun reh hai...

Rajveer- nhi..aap kuch zyada hi dheemi awaz me baat kar rhi thi....

Naina- main chilla nhi rhi thi..bhala koi date ki baat chilla kar karta hai kya???

Rajveer- date, Ms. Ahluwaliya? Aap 1bar kisi insaan se milte hi uske saath date pe chale jate ho??

Naina- aapko kya??? Mujhe pata hai aap jealous ho..jalte ho aap Amar se..isliye to aapne mujhe kidnap ki...

Rajveer- maine aapko kidnap nhi kiya..

Naina- yeah,right..aap jis tarah aapki badi badi aakhon se dekh reh the...aapka driver bhi bhag gaya...

Rajveer- maine aapse pucha, aur aap maan gayi. Aur mera driver bhaaga nhi hai..maine use jaane k liye kaha..thats in his job profile.

Naina- haan haan..pata hai..

There was silence in the car for sometime. Rajveer thought that it was a little awkward,but Naina didnot seem to mind. She was looking out of the window and smiling to herself like a lunatic.

Rajveer- whats so funny?

She turned to face him,grinning from ear to ear. He did not understand why she smiled so much. No matter what was happening around her,her default state was- being happy.

Naina- whats funny is- you. You are the strangest person I have ever seen. All this time,you kept giving me a cold shoulder,when I was all starry-eyed about you. And when I gave up on getting through your sad,dark exterior, I find that you secretly like me..

Rajveer- starry- eyed about me?? Do you think its a good idea to start giving away such information just yet?

Naina- how does it matter? Hum already date pe jaa reh hai and knowing myself as I do, I'm sure you wont be able to let me go ever

Rajveer- dekha jayega.. lagta hai assume karna aapka fav hobby hai.. like- hum date pe ja reh hai,i like you secretly..

Naina- main assume nhi kar rhi Rajveer. Mujhe pata hai..i can see..

Rajveer- Rajveer??? Mr. Sekhawat ka kya hua???

Naina-changed..kitna ajeeb lagega sunne me..we r dating and main aapko Mr. Sekhawat bula rhi hu.. aap mujhe Nain bula sakte hai...

By that time they reached Marriott. As the valet held the door open for her and she climbed out of his car,he scolded himself for the millionth time for doing what he was doing. He had been doing a good job of being aloof and staying away from her,and he shoukd have stuck to it. But seconds later,he found himself getting out of the car and handing over the keys to the valet.
