"Uh, Gerald..." I said in a sort of whisper stutter shout shaking him a little as I looked straight ahead of me.
"What Millie?" He said barely glancing at me.
"It's too late."
*48 hours earlier September 9th, 1977*
Millie
"Gerald!" I shouted as I ran into headquarters looking around frantically hoping he was on the lower level.
"Yes, Millie?" He said poking his head around the corner of the office area.
"Mandy's dead and you have to get a message to the Emperor not to come today, or like ever," I said and panted for air, I had been trying to figure out what the image meant since yesterday, and it had finally hit me while I was drinking coffee at one of the shops.
He looked at me for a long minute before responding, "You sure that's what they meant by the message?" He asked me and I sighed shaking my head.
"No, but would you want to take the chance?" I asked him and he walked over to Becca.
"Call them to tell them not to let the Emperor come here, tell them why." Becca immediately started getting to work and now it was like playing the waiting game all over again.
*24 hours later*
Emperor Hirohito stepped through the doors which startled us. He had guards around him at all angles ready to attack anyone who got to close.
"What are you doing here?" Gerald said shouting a little, "We told you not to come, they want to kill you!"
"I am well aware of it, and I think if the matter is that extreme then I should come anyway." He said plainly.
Gerald sighed, we both knew The Gorifiers were going to attack, there wasn't enough protection to stop it. I was scanning over his guards when one of them caught my eye. I knew him Leon Caparito he had lived in this town for years, so why was he a guard for the Emperor. He was the cop who had investigated Seth's disappearance and murder.
I dashed up the stairs to my office without saying anything and once I was in I locked the door and started going through my files. I pulled out Leon's and dug through it. Leon was in love with Nagako Kōjun the Empress or other words our Emperor's wife. Not only did the Gorifiers trying to kill him for another "broken heart" but for the fact they wanted to take down the highest powers.
By the time I made it back downstairs the Emperor and his guards were gone and I looked around frantically, "Gerald!" I shouted and he came over from his spot next to Becca.
"What?" He said getting annoyed by my shouting his name twice in one day.
"Do you remember that brown-haired guard with those shiny blue eyes that look like ice?"
"Yeah... Why?" He asks in an unsure tone.
"He was in love with Empress Kōjun, Hirohito's wife. He also was the cop who was handling Seth's murder and disappearance." I said all in one breath and panted.
"He's going to murder the Emperor we have to go then and now." He said heading for the door, "Becca you are coming too." He grabbed his jacket and a gun loaded it and headed out the door as did Becca and me.
*Present time*
"Where is he, Leon? What'd you do with him?" Gerald, Becca, some hunters, some fighters, and I all stood around him as he stood on the edge of a building.
"You'll find him don't worry." He said smiling. We were on the roof of a 4-story architecture that was empty and abandoned we had chased Leon here, but he didn't seem like he cared. "Catch you later," He said and jumped off the building and we ran over to the edge immediately.
By the time we looked down though he was gone. I looked up suddenly and I stared my eyes widening.
"Uh, Gerald..." I said in a sort of whisper stutter shout shaking him a little as I looked straight ahead of me.
"What Millie?" He said barely glancing at me.
"It's too late," I said referring to the man hanging upside down by his feet on the where the Japan flag should be. He had knives stabbed into him at every angle. He had no face it was just bones and blood of his skull. You could tell it was the Emperor though by badges that they stuck to his bare chest.
We all fell to our knees on the rooftop as did many people who had now taken the view of the sight, and we all whispered in together "The Imperator has Casurus."
The Emperor has Fallen.
