Not going to lie, the title of this chapters speaks to me on a personal level.
So, Alfred didn't know what to do. After making small talk with Belarus, he was allowed to get some breakfast and eat. In silence.
Now, normally Alfred wouldn't mind silence but it depends if he's around people he enjoys or not. Not to say the three weren't enjoyable just... he'd rather have Mathew or Francis with him. Maybe even Ivan.
The thought of any one of them being right next to him brought a smile to Alfred's face. This smile did not escape Ukraine's eyes. "Alfred...you have a lover back in the 1p's world, no?" She asked 'innocently', taking a smoke.
Alfred's ears went red and thanked his lucky stars that his hair was messed up and covered them up. Getting his best Hollywood acting skills, he raised his head and smiled. "No, and you?" She smirked. "I am not one to choose one, I've got many."
Belarus glared a little at Ukraine. "And you break their hearts too! Even if I hate Allen, you shouldn't have done that!" She scolded. Alfred raised an eyebrow. "What happened to Allen?" Viktor sighed. "Unfortunately, my sister loves to fool around. Allen was one of her first victims, left him a sobbing mess. Though, to credit him, he only cried for a day." He explained, resting his chin on his hand.
Alfred took a bite out of his pancake and thought about it. Allen never informed him about this, odd considering that in the past, Allen would never stop bugging him. Ukraine let out a snicker. "His fault, I told him that I was 50/50 on keeping a relationship.''
Belarus huffed silently and Viktor rolled his eyes. "Alfred, sweetie, you serious on saying that you got nobody to love in your world? Allen sure does, I thought I'd be the same for you," she inquired. Once again, Alfred shook his head. "In a romantic sense, Nah. I mean, I always got Mattie or Francis or... or, uh, Arthur," he replied.
"By the way, who is with Allen?" He asked. Ukraine smirked as Belarus gagged. Even Viktor shivered. "His brother, Mattheui."
That sent shivers down Alfred's spine. He froze and facepalmed. "Why, why, why? Why me?" Alfred muttered. Ukraine snickered again as Belarus lightly patted Alfred to comfort him. "That's his brother! That's, to some degree, my brother! My brothers are doing the frickle frackle together!" He whined.
"Exactly, but we leave them be as they are not any of our concern." Viktor commented, getting up, "But that's not important right now. Come with me Alfred, I have questions for you. You can with my sisters in a while."
Alfred rose from his seat and followed Viktor. "See ya later, Alfie," Ukraine said. Belarus gave a shy smile and wave as he grinned.

The room resembled a guest room, but it had a table and two chairs at a corner. Viktor sat in one so Alfred decided to do the same. As soon as he sat down, the questioning began.
"How do you know Russian?" Viktor asked.
Alfred rose a brow in confusion. "Has Ivan not told you?" Viktor shook his head. "Well...I know most languages, I mean, how else am I supposed to communicate with all of my citizens?" Alfred chuckled, remembering all of the fond thoughts of learning various languages.
"Russian was actually one of the last languages I learned, not many of my citizens spoke it. But the cold war hit and I decided it was the smartest idea to learn what Russia was exactly saying at the moment he was saying it. I was at a disadvantage, he could understand English but I couldn't understand Russian. At the time...all I could think about was me and my country, so I learned it." Alfred concluded.
Viktor smirked. "Ivan always told me you were like an innocent child, ignorant of the things around you. He always said that you were a country with too much power in your hands," He commented. Alfred gave a grin, his eyes playful.
"He's not entirely wrong, but, do you wanna know something really amazing?" Alfred asked getting up from his chair and leaning towards Viktor. Viktor nodded his head.
"Ivan knows very well that what you just said isn't true. I took down England with half the size of his army, mind you I was very young. Now, I'm one of the most successful countries out there, helping everyone. My brother and I play a role as innocent children, but you bet your life that we could cause a lot of damage." Alfred said, smiling wide.
"America may be helpful to some, but we can be the complete opposite."
Viktor laughed. "You try so hard to be intimidating but you end up making me laugh, that is good." Alfred turned red, knowing Viktor was probably right. He sat back down and huffed out in annoyance. "Whatever, Commie. Any more questions?"
"Думаю, мы продолжим этот разговор на моем языке, да?" I think we'll continue this conversation in my language, yes? Viktor asked. "Хорошо, что бы вы ни говорили, Виктор." Fine, whatever you say, Viktor. Alfred replied.
