I also detest yelling as much as comparison.
There are times when I do the wrong things and really deserve some scolding or pep talk.But it really should not exceed it's boundary. You wonder what I mean?...
Yes, I should get it when I absolutely deserve it, but forget the additions.Older people are blessed in this aspect, in the sense that, they just know how to do it and as a result are professionals.
One day, I dropped a plate by accident, which wasn't intentional, I tried to explain but to no avail. I got it big time.
But when it changed from a normal and reason scolding was when my past flaws came to the present.And like every other person, I got pissed, saying within me, 'why should what happened 1-3 weeks ago come into this present scene? '.
Why not just get to the point, I would say to my self, and sometimes am given a history of their lives as though I needed it badly for my /a history test or something.
I just wish they could feel our own pains and walk in our shoes with the thorns that stab our soft, fresh feet.
Maybe then, they might or would understand the stress we go through as people too.No one likes to yelled at, not even a 2 year old.
Likewise we should learn to talk politely and respectfully to one another as to live in love.
Especially our Mums and dads, as good communication is the high way to a functional and an effective family.Corrections are part of growing up, but I think we should correct in love as to promote healthy and admirable relationships.
Being yelled at or the person who's yelling or scolding in one way or the other loose their happiness and radiance, and also yelling takes alot energy and sometimes force, which send out the stressed veins to encounter a sad face.
We should help build each other up, rather than condemn, in so doing, we are likely to use some foul words and languages which aren't appropriate.
