Comparison 1.

I hate it.
I don't like it when people, parents, teachers, the elderly and whatever they tag themselves,  compare me to other people, when obviously I'm not them and certainly  cannot  be.

Firstly, I think its rude and impolite.
They should always be there to support, encourage, spur me on and appreciate me for who I am on the inside.

This basically happens with parents and friends, reason being that, they are the ones we spend more time with, and they have great influence on us, as learners and parents to be as well.

Take for instance, I bring home well , let's call it a 'not-too-good' result from school.  I  know I didn't do quite well as expected from me and I really know that I put in my very best, (my blood, sweat and tears),  to get those satisfying grades that pierce and question my intelligence .

Yes, my mum should be mad and crazy at me for not giving her what she expected of me. definitely, I messed up and I know it. Though I wouldn't call it that on my own side, just to make my momma happy or less pissed.

But, don't we think an encouragement  is needed?. Well I solemnly do. I don't know about you.

So instead of comparing me with Mr A or miss B, in the class, I as well think a little pat on the back could be a bit rewarding for the little I've done and then plan on doing better, instead of sending me back to my take off point, if not worse than where I picked myself up from.

Comparison 2.

We all like to have friends right?, who doesn't?.
Well, I love to, and that includes meeting new faces too.

Sometimes you (we)  wonder  why the most important friends we have just have to leave us, probably because they're at a big stage in their lives, or they just had to leave.

But they actually leave for us to identify who we're supposed and meant to be.  I'll call that a (did you know?)  fact.

Okay, so the other thing(aspect)  I  don't like about comparison is this...

When we want to make friends with people we've probably never met before or spoken to.
And they feel we're not up to their class or fit to groove along with them, to me that's bullshit.

Now this should be a tip.
I know in every society, there may  always be this group or set of people we admire and probably want to fit into it.

One problem people have, especially the teens is the phobia of not belonging (that's what I call it).  we always want to be seen every where, you know, be among the happening group.

You can make your own team or gang and set it on fire, when you do, the so- called popular people or group gets to compete with yours.

so we can find ways of fitting our eggs in one basket, instead of getting  another, this way, we live happier and with less stress.

So guys pls share your views on what you think about this one, and don't forget to vote and support me if it really moved you.

Thanks for reading, God bless you.
