THE LAVISH LAND was illuminated by the sun and juxtaposed brilliantly with the dangerous thudding of the trio's hearts. Iain Quinn was certainly a man with a talent for flower arranging, that, or he had enough money to pay the right people- it was definitely the latter.

These thoughts distractedly buzzed around Sophia's head as they surveyed the commotion in front of them. Skye and Fitz- though having a great deal of their own intuition- were largely looking to her for direction and clarification. Their aim was obvious, (acquire the package and don't get caught) but the way in which to achieve that (shoot the numerous people milling around outside?) was quite the opposite. It was hastily decided that Fitz would install his remaining tracking devices on the vehicles of those working with Quinn- so that they could pursue them later- and that Skye would follow Sophia into the building for the package's retrieval. Sophia was extremely hesitant to allow Skye to participate in such a dangerous way, but she felt even more uneasy whilst thinking about leaving her outside, in plain view of anyone.

Sophia felt a little better once Fitz pressed the night-night pistol into Skye's palm, but once again found herself wishing that she possessed a gun capable of doing serious damage. The scientist told them to be careful, but it was more of a plea than a command. He was terrified to lose his friends. Skye squeezed his hand and repeated his words right back to him, making sure that he'd be cautious too.

"Looking kind of badass, huh?"
Sophia gently traced the bruise that curved around his cheekbone... and then she was instantly up and moving. Fitz gingerly placed his own fingers against his warming face.

Skye rushed up from her crouching position and aided Sophia in shooting the guard patrolling the entrance, only missing a couple of times before hitting him with accuracy. The girls briefly looked back as Fitz hastily slid under one of the cars and despite the tense situation it was hard not to smile, he really was getting braver with each mission.

Sophia couldn't take more than three steps without checking to make sure Skye was beside her, subsequently realising the true amount of danger she was placing the hacker in. They kept their pistols close and threw searching glances into each doorway they passed, wanting to grab the parcel and leave immediately. However, their backs suddenly hit the wall and they came to a halt as voices rang out from down the corridor adjacent to their location- it was a woman discussing the purchase. Skye's eyes widened and Sophia raised an eyebrow. Bingo.

With baited breath the teammates listened for the footsteps to fade away and eventually cease, and Skye pitched her plan as soon as they did.

"They went in two different directions!" Whispered Skye, "And there's two of us!"
