I recalled a dream I had a few nights ago while I tried to fall asleep. It was actually déjà vu, a dream before an event. I remember being scared, then suddenly noticing that I had been there before, and tried to send a message to my past self.
"It's here"
I suddenly snap out of my dreaming state. I feel a cold shiver descending down my spine. A sense of dread. Something's here. A shadow stalks from outside my window. I stare back, only seeing an abyss of darkness. It suddenly dissipates, appearing once more in the hallway outside my room. It seemed like a floating black robe, with dark skeletal fingers stretching beyond what seemed natural. I stare back once more, waiting for it to finally go away. I blink, and suddenly, I feel a presence beside me. I watch back to towards the unholy thing was. It had disappeared. I was petrified, unable to think, or even move for that matter. I could only mutter one thing.
"It's here."
Suddenly, there is a strong force, pushing me down into my bed. A crushing force, unbearable to imagine, crushing my lungs. My ribcage was at breaking point. Then it stopped. I looked around, but before I could see what was outside the window, I felt another force, this time like a pair of cold, bony hands pressing on my throat. Before I passed out, I could hear laughing, children laughing. There were children in my room, four of them, huddled around my bed. As my vision slowly faded, I could see them mouthing a few words that haunted me throughout my dreams that night.
We'll see you tomorrow.
