The Incident

Cassy's POV

"Freak"

             It wasn't new. I was not even surprised. Five red bold letters painted in Allie's locker, Oh! right... it slip my mind and yeah, I'm Cassy, Allie's most-trusted friend.

            "I still don't get it, what is it that they think of Allie well, is it because she likes to read fantasy, is it because of the way that she'd just keep quiet every period, or is it because of the incident?" I thought.

  

            "Is it really because of last year's prom? She was okay back then but somehow, just because of that witness that she was caught by a group of junior high students that she wa...." I whispered to myself when I was distracted by the bell that started clanging.

            There she was, walking straight to her next period leaving my thoughts unanswered. I was worried for her for I had been there for her before everyone made fun of her, especially when IT happened.

 

            Days go by everything remains the same, the voices of squealing teenagers, the bells ring each hour and the chattering noises when they call Allie rude names.

             Well, I did tried my best to pull myself up and to try and ask Allie what really happened that night and what is she doing in that abandoned butterfly garden.

             I stood up and ran towards the food court. I passed classroom by classroom. As I saw the door to the food court, I keep asking myself.

"What is her secret?.....what is it?"
