"Malachi." Toni replied curtly.
"What do I have the pleasure of talking to you about?" Unaware to Toni, Malachi was standing above Archie's bed. Archie was staring up at him in shock. Malachi held a finger to his lips.
"A girl is dead. You had something to do with it." Toni walked out of the hospital and over to her motorcycle.
"Oh that's what this is about? I assumed you were upset about Archie." Malachi gave Archie a wink.
"We both know me yelling at you about him wouldn't do anything." Toni snapped. She snapped her helmet into place.
"Why so upset?" Malachi jested. Toni rolled her eyes.
"Do you know anything about the girl?" She demanded.
"Maybe, meet me tonight. Outside your place. Alone." He dragged out the last word for emphasis. Archie narrowed his eyes in warning. Malachi gave him a small shove, enough to cause pain before stalking out of the room.
"Fine." Toni sighed as she hung up the phone. "I can't believe I almost married that asshole."

Betty watched in surprise as Sweet Pea buried himself in baby websites. Before he could start going through baby name websites, she started talking.
"You don't have to do that yet, Sweets." Betty put her hand on his shoulder.
"When can I tell people?" Sweet Pea turned off his laptop.
"Two months?" Betty winced as she saw his face fall. "It's just in case we lose the baby." Betty explained. Sweet Pea's face became grave. "Which won't happen of course!"
"Can I at least tell Fangs?" Sweet Pea picked up his phone.
"Sure." Sweet Pea left to call his best friend so Betty decided to text Veronica. Veronica's response was better than she could have ever hoped for. Betty noticed an odd text from Jughead. She should have figured Veronica would tell Jughead based off how much time they were together.
"Congrats on the kid. Can Archie stay at your house to recover?" Betty felt her heart falter. She and Jughead has always talked about kids. She and Archie had even talked about kids. But she and Sweet Pea had never. Betty recovered her wits and agreed. The past didn't matter anymore. She and Sweet Pea were a family, she decided. /She hoped.

Jughead stared at the dm from the unknown account, but he was only thinking about Betty. If he hadn't left, they might have a kid. Why the hell did he leave? Veronica's voice returned him to reality.
"Answer!" Veronica stared at him. When Jughead didn't reply she pointed to the dm. "Answer them!" Jughead shook himself and started typing.
"Yeah. It was kind of crazy. Where are you now?" Jughead voiced what he was typing. They paused, waiting for a response.
"You don't remember the plan? After you fake your death, we meet in Greendale." It said. Veronica's breath caught.
"Looks like their plan went very badly." Jughead shook his head before replying that she had to go and would see him soon. Veronica felt her eyes well up.
"This is so much like the past." She whispered. Jughead hated to think about everything before he left for California. He understood why it hurt Veronica. "Jason, Midge...Reggie." Jughead hugged Veronica close to him.
"It's okay." He kisses her head. She cried into his chest. Veronica has left riverdale the day Reggie died to the Ghoulies and Serpents fighting. Veronica always wondered what might have happened if she had stayed. Maybe the Serpents would still be alive.
And maybe so would Reggie.
