Chapter Twenty Six - The ocean

Princessca, she typed.

They expected the invalid screen to pop up but they were greeted by something else.

Amayraah landed on Agastya as the flood of water pushed them backwards.

The water level increased, "You can leave me. I know how to swim" she said.

"What the fuck!" Julian cursed.

'Let's swim upwards, we may find the exit'. The water was not making it easy for them to go. Agastya didn't let go of Amayraah's arm. 'Everyone swim and meet up at the shore' Julian said.

Within few minutes the entire cave was flooded with water, and then finally they swam upwards. They hurried their arms and legs to reach ashore.

Their eyes roamed to search the shore but it was visible nowhere. Amayraah jerked and kicked everyone; as she pointed in the farthest right direction.

Shit! 'Run' they mouthed. They swam faster, they had to, if they wanted to save themselves from the mouth of death because the creature from whose teeth no one could escape was sighted to Amayraah. Amayraah looked backwards to see the shark was following them. They nodded each other as they parted their ways. Amayraah and Agastya went in right direction while Chase and Julian went opposite.

The shark was following Amayraah, surprisingly, Amayraah was keeping Agastya's pace. Amayraah and Agastya both knew death was following them, escaping from which was not possible. But they had to try, giving up easily was not in their dictionary. The water has entered in the lungs of the teenagers as they longed for oxygen. He pointed her upwards, she was a fighter, he appreciated her about this.

She touched his hand and moved her face left to right, telling him no. They weren't able to speak but their hearts seemed to understand. Her feeling of pain reached him, he knew she was tired and couldn't swim anymore. He pulled her hand along with him, he had to anyhow take her out of the mess.

He swam faster than ever, his left hand pulling her weight. And with her legs kicking the water and his arms moving forward their swimming speed doubled.

Even though the shark was no where to be seen in the water, it was necessary for them to get out of water as soon as possible. Relief passed when the shark was not seen, but that seemed more dangerous other way, because they were not in some lake, they were into some huge water body which contained sharks or probably in a more dangerous water called sea water.

After sometime, she pinched his hand telling him to let go of her. He understood and he let go of her. With hungry stomachs, they continued the journey, Julian and Chase were still missing.

Only God knew where were they, they kept on kicking the water backwards and moving arms forward. They had to reach the shore before their lungs were completely filled with water.

Unknown's POV :

It was supposed to happen. Everything was going as I planned. My hyena laugh echoed in the room.. And somewhere my brain and vision said, the plan would succeed. Little did they know, who was I!

No one knew what my brain knew. They were fools. All were fools. The machine was going to work. Destruction was inevitable. Loss of property and human lives was visible. That was I wished for since so many years.

I poured the champagne in my glass. The night was my victory.

Chase' Pov :

When Amayraah told me she had map of the place, I smiled. Finally there was a way to escape from the dreadest place.

Princessca. She had typed and the steel door had unlocked but we didn't expect water to greet us.

The moment door was unlocked, water was all over. My legs instantly began kicking water and so did everybody's. But soon, the shark followed us and we parted our ways. Amayraah disappeared and so did Agastya. Both were nowhere to be seen. Our eyes roamed in each direction to find them.

Julian pulled me, I looked in the direction to find a submarine.

I knew he was not sure whether we should go and ask for help. Because it was a possibility those were George' men.

I nodded to him as we swam in the submarine's direction. My heart heaved a relief because on the submarine there was flag of the state indicating it was of the Navy force.

We went forward and knocked the submarine door. The man inside, co-ordinated and indicated us to wait. After long time, men with oxygen masks and cylinders came from up and gave us the same. We tied the oxygen cylinders to our back and used the pipe to breath.

We looked too and fro but Amayraah and Agastya were still missing. We wanted the men to search them too but we weren't able to speak.

The men guided us and we swam. Finally Julian stopped them and indicated with fingers that two of us are still missing. The men pointed at the submarine and told the submarine would search them and later we would help. We nodded. There were many different types of fishes and sea horses. My eyes caught the sight of amazing coral reef.

And then my brain registered, where were we. Shit! We were in the Labukó Ocean, The largest ocean in the whole world.

We swam upwards, our shoulders and legs ached. The day was almost over. And finally after swimming for more than ten hours, by following the men, we found the boat. Those men along with Chase and Julian climbed the boat with the help of rope.

"We are a part of navy of the country. My name is Daniel. What were you two doing there in the deep ocean?" The man asked removing his mask.

"Ocean?" Julian asked in surprise. He looked at me with widened eyes as he realized it was Labukó Ocean.

"It's a very long story. We will explain it to you later. But two of us are still missing" I said them.

"Yes, one was my sister and the other was one of my close friend" Julian immediately said.

"The submarine if finds them, would immediately send an alert in the system and our rescue team would immediately take a dive to help. But my child, how did you four landed here?" He said.

"We were kidnapped and put in some strange place, the exit of which we didn't know. We managed to get a map of that place and when we unlocked the door we expected to come on land but water came and we four got separated" I explained in short.

Daniel and others stared us. "Jesus Christ. Are you two okay?" The other person besides Daniel spoke.

"Your parents don't know about this?" Daniel asked.

"No. They might be so worried for us" I said.

"Everything would be okay, children. Let's eat something"

We sat in the boat, eating food silently. I prayed for everything to be okay and closed my eyes. And exactly after four days, we reached the shore. We were taken to police station immediately and soon our parents reached there.

And we told everything to them.
