I got to the hospital and ran inside to the receptionist.
"Hi i need Zach Herron's room number please!" I said out of breath.
She typed some doctor stuff and finally said," Sorry he is currently in the process of getting surgery. What are you guys relations?"
"Cousins....?" It came out more of a question than an answer.
"Okay the doctor will let you know when you can see him." I nodded in response.
I saw two kids that didnt have any any parents by them.
"Hey are you guys alright?" I asked very concerned about them. The little girl was sleep but the older boy was awake with a tear stained face.
"To be honest, not really. Our brother is very injured." As soon as he said that i immediately knew who they were!
"Hey! Your Zach's brother Ryan right?"
"How do you know?" He asked kinda getting tense.
"Its alright! Im zach's friend."
"Oh your that jack kid! Zachs talks about you allllllll the time." Ryan said making me blush knowing that he talks about me.
"Its like he has a crush on you or something ha!" I almost choked on my sPiT! He looked at me and his eyes go wide.
"yOu LIke hIM!" I blushed and slupped in my chair.
"I knew it!" He said cheerfully which was kinda relieving.
"Hey, i totally support and plus i think he likes you too!" He said smiling.
"Real-" i got cut off by a doctor. We both immediately got up.
"Zach is out of surgery and is allowed visits." I was so happy he made it!
"How about you and Reese go in first." He nodded and woke Reese up and went inside.
I really hope he is going to be okay. By now i realize that i actually and genuinely like him. Hes so precious and just a very sweet boy. He should not be going through this. His smile can just light up a room. His little giggle was so cute and soft. His voice was so angelic and could put you to sleep.

*20 minutes later*

The two siblings finally walked out of zachs room.
"Hes all yours! Reese here had a lot of things to say!" He said
"Hey! meanie!" Reese says pouting. She was so adorable!
When i walked in the sight tore me apart. He was lying there with a black eye and and bruised shoulders and a bandage around his head. My eyes got watery.
"Hey zachy" i say a tear rolling down my cheek. I sat down in the chair next to his bed.
"You probably cant hear me but i just wanted to say that i care about you like a whole lot and you did not deserve to go through this. I am glad to call you my best friend. Without you i wouldn't have figured out some big stuff about my self. You made me become my true self." I grabbed his hand. "And I-I love you for that." I said sobbing. I felt a little rub on my knuckle. HES LISTENING.
"Zach! Your listening!" He started to move around and beeping started to happen. A whole bunch of doctors came rushing in.
"Sir we need you to exit please." A doctor said.
"WAIT ZACH!" i yelled.
'I love you too' zach mouthed looking me dead in the eyes and i looked into his soft brown ones and i smiled, relieved that he heard me...
