I was awoken by the incessant mewing from Zero as he paws rhythmically at my cheek. I open my eyes daringly as I fear he will scratch one. The moment he sees that my dreary eyes have lit up, he stands proudly on my chest, mewing persistently. I smile at the small kitten and lift him off of my chest, as I sit up. He burrows his head into my warm chest happily.

As I stand up and place him on the ground he follows me to the kitchen where his food is going to be served. I pull out some milk and pour it into a bowl, for his morning meal. I place some cat food into the milk and with a fork; crush it until it is a smooth paste. Zero gingerly eats the food. Once he is finished i place the bowl in the sink, to wash later, and walk back to my bedroom to get ready for work.

Today is a half day due to the fact tonight we are opening just the bar and Louis Tomlinson is preforming. At the thought of his name, i feel shivers race up my arms. I take a quick look at the floor and pick up my work shirt and pants. Soon, the shirt is on my body and my pants are on as well. I finish getting dressed by placing my socks on my feet and a belt around my waist.

In the bathroom i look in the mirror at myself. My skin is paler than usual, cheeks are sunken in, and my eyes are dull. Not to mention my terrible excuse for hair. I mean it looks okay but the curls look knotted and the ends look just immaculately dead. I pick up the brush and let the bristles comb themselves through my hair until it looks half way decent.

My teeth need brushing so I pick up the toothbrush and spread the paste on the bristles as I let out a loud yawn. I brush my teeth for at least two minutes before i spit and rinse my mouth of the fluoride suds.

Now, i look okay. Not too great but just good enough for work. I make my way to the living room and slip on a jacket and my shoes. I almost forget the apron on the coat rack, so I grab it and pick up the keys and my phone from the bowl on the table by the door.

"Dont make a mess of the house! Stay away from the curtains and the couch!" I yell to Zero as I open the front door. He doesn't understand me. Why do I even bother to communicate? 'Maybe because Im lonely', I think to myself as I lock the door.

I shake my head and proceed out of the complex and to my car. Its not much of car, just a little Celica GT with a few dents here and there from the previous owner. The paint is chipping off and the left side mirror is broken. The interior is in better shape, since I added new leather covers for the seats and replaced the dashboard. Like I said, its not much, but it gets me to where I need to go.

I turn the key on the ignition and get a growling, rattling sound in return. I try to start it again but the same thing happens. After trying multiple times I give up and rest my head on the steering wheel and eventually get out of the vehicle. I pull my phone out of my back pocket and dial Nialls number. Hes the only one I know of who wouldnt mind helping me out.

After a few rings he picks up, "Hey man, whats up?"

I groan out of anger and kick the tire. "My car wont start! Stupid piece of shit." I say the last part to myself as I wipe my hand down my face.

"Me and Liam will be there in a minute. We drive by there anyways." I hear Liam shout in the background that sounded something like 'need to buy a new car'.

"Thanks Ni, and tell Liam th-" He cuts me off.

"Your on speaker. Tell him yourself!" He chuckles slightly to himself.

"I will buy me a new car, when you get rid of that piece of shit stereo you keep complaining about!" I laugh loudly and rest my arm on the car, and my head in the crook of my elbow.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say Styles." I can hear his smile in the way he speaks and Niall singing to the terrible radio. "We are turning on to Bullington road, be there in a minute."
