(This chapter goes fast because I wanted to get to the REEEAALYYY good stuff)
(Miranda's POV)
I focused on the matches. Minerva was just trying to make me think she wouldn't hurt Jezebel. Sting wasn't only fighting for Lector's life, he was fighting for Jezebel's to. Sting was nowhere to be found, and Rogue ended up fighting Gajeel. This was not going to end well.
The fight dragged on, and as Gajeel turned into an Iron Shadow Dragon, the air got more tense. I saw what was going to happen and turned into a shadow myself. I went over to where Rogue was and as Gajeel was about to kill him, I used myself to shield Rogue.
"Please! Don't kill him!" I pleaded, "I don't want to go through the pain of a broken heart again!"
I felt the darkness in the air fade and I looked up. Gajeel knelt down and put a hand on my head
"Don't worry, I'm not that person anymore."
I heard him walk away and I hugged Rogue. I took him back to the infirmary and sat next to his bed. I was not leaving his side.
I looked out the window at the lacrima-trons and Fairy Tail's 5 undefeated, yet pretty beat up team members were limping towards Sting. Words were spoken, and he admitted defeat. I started sobbing. Now neither Jezebel nor Lector were coming back. I took Jezebel's collar out of my pocket and held it close to my chest.
I woke up to something licking my face. As I slowly opened my eyes, Jezebel and right in front of me, happy as could be. Sting was holding Lector on the other side of Rogue's bed.
"You can thank that weird cat girl for getting these two back."
Rufus came in and sighed, "The king wants us in the square, apparently something's come up."
I woke up Rogue and we all went to the square. The king started speaking about the Eclipse and I froze. I knew what was about to ensue, and I would have to be forced to show Rogue that I am not a human adopted by a dragon. Everyone in Fairy Tail knew, but I hid it from Sabertooth because I was scared of what they would do.
Soon, dragons came out of the Eclipse. I stepped foward and looked back at Rogue
"I never wanted you to see what I really was, but, someone needs to help."
