Our "first" mission.

(Third P.O.V)

Everyone shortly left after the karaoke now it was just you, and Naruto. He was walking you home since your older sister had gotten drunk, and went home without you. You tried to tell him that he didn't have to but he insisted. 

It was a silent walk not awkward but silence. 

"Hey (Y/N)?" Naruto asked breaking the comfortable silence.

"Yeah." 

"Why do you always hang around the girls?"

You didn't expect that question it made you jump, and blushed. Only three people in the world knew that you were gay. Your older sister, Sakura you had grown with her lately and it kind of slipped out, and your younger brother. Even though he didn't quite understand the concept. 

"Ummm, I just fell more at home with them." You said.

It wasn't a complete lie you did feel more comfortable around girls then boys you just didn't know why. It wasn't because you are gay because you didn't feel like you belonged with the boys before you found out you were gay. That's why you usually stayed to yourself. 

"Well I may not know the full reason but just know you can always be at home with me."

Thump! You felt the beat this time. It hurt but not in a bad way if that makes sense. You smiled and gave him a hug. He blushed, and pat you on the head. You two had made it to your house, and you went inside bedding Naruto you goodbyes.

You entered the house and everyone was talking. 

"Hey guys whats up?"

"Honey did you hear?"

"What?"

"A genin was murder last night!"

"WHAT?! WHO?" 

"A boy his name was Akario. Turns out he was gay serves him right." The way your father said gay with such acid sent chills down you spine. 

Yes. Your parents were homophobic on another level. Your sister stared at you with empathic eyes, and you walked to your room saying that you didn't feel okay. You feel asleep that night thinking of how you were going to come out without being murder too.

You woke up the next morning, and were to head to the hokage's office another "mission." They weren't really missions it was just doing chores for other people. When you got their Naruto was complaining about how all their missions sucked, and they needed better. 

Eventually the hokage gave in and gave and gave us a C ranked mission. You gave him a high five as someone entered. It was a old man. 

"These our the kids that are meant escort me to the land hidden in the mist?"

"Kids?! Who you callin' kids old man!" Naruto shouted. 

"Shut it shorty." He replied. 

"Hey you can't call (Y/N) that!" 

Even though it was true you were shorter than Naruto. He wasn't talking to you.

"Baka," Sasuke started, "He wasn't talking about (Y/N) he was talking about you."
