Epilogue

Narrator POV:

Jaebum stood in the audience with a proud smile on his face as he watched Yugyeom receive his diploma. He's been waiting for this day for ages. This day had started exactly as Yugyeom 

His last 2 years were a little bumpy because Jaebum had graduated and wasn't able to keep watch of the assholes but fortunately Yugyeom made friends with a kid named BamBam. This last year was good for the both of them regardless; Jaebum got into a college that was only 20 minutes away from his mom's house and Yugyeom's smile never seemed to fall off his face. He had finally gotten the family he deserved. 

Today while they were going to move Yugyeom's stuff into his apartment, Jaebum was going to ask him a very important question.

Jaebum  got into position, which consisted on kneeling on his knee and opening a small velvet box so that it would display a silver band encrusted in small diamonds, behind a large stack of boxes once Yugyeom was distracted.

"Bummie?"

"Back here babe."

Jaebum's nerves flared up as soon as he saw the shocked look on his face when he peeked at me. Yugyeom's hand flew to his mouth in disbelief. 

Yugyeom managed to choke out an "Oh my god."

Jaebum reached for Yugyeom's free hand to hold and started his speech.

"We've been through a lot together but I know that we can always handle it. I know deep in my heart that we belong together and that's why I want to make you forever mine. I could never live with myself if I didn't make my feelings for you known and clear. So I ask you with this ring; Will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

Tears were running down Yugyeom's face as he nodded his head frantically.

"Yes! Yes of course I'll marry you!"

Yugyeom leapt into Jaebum's arms and knocked him over in his excitement. Jaebum managed to get the ring onto Yugyeom's ring finder during the attack. 

Yugyeom was pressing kisses all over Jaebum's face until he managed to catch Yugyeom's lips in a heated session.

Yugyeom uttered a small "I love you" when they pulled away from each other. 

"I love you too."

That night was spent exploring each other and proving their love for one another. The next morning they would wake up feeling the best they've ever felt, for they were made for each other and would make sure that they would never be separated.

9 Years Later

"Momo, Jeongyeon, Jeongin! Get ready for school."

"Yes eomma."

"Bummie get your ass down here. You're going to be late for work if you don't leave soon."

"Coming yeobo!"

A 29 year old Jaebum came running down the stairs with his binder full of songs that he was preparing for his next album. You see Jaebum was scouted by the one and only JYP for his talent in singing and songwriting! He came in a rush to pull Yugyeom into a chaste kiss before running off towards work.

"I love you!" He called from the door.

"Love you guys. Have a good day!"

"We love you too abeoji." (You didn't ask but this is the hangul translation: 우리도 너를 사랑해, 아빠. And the pronunciation: ulido neoleul saranghae, appa.)

In the end things worked out well for them.

"Eomma?"

"Yes darling?"

"What this?"

Jeongin curious and sticky hands shoved a piece of laminated paper that Yugyeom knew all too well. The badly drawn stick figures in crayon were always enough to bring a fond smile to his face.

"That is something you're appa gave me when we became friends."

"Why?"

"Well that's a bit of a long story. One you wouldn't really understand yet."

"But I want to know how you met appa and got married."

"One day we'll tell you guys the story. All you need to know for now is that everything that happened in our coming together was worth it because we got to have a family together with you guys and I would have it no other way."

Yugyeom placed a dramatic kiss on Joengin's cheek and chased him away to get his stuff together for school.
