Dear Chace,

Your best friend came to talk to me today. It felt good to have someone talk to me in school. I was starting to get a bit lonely. 

I don't know why he did that but I am thankful. We didn't talk for long because he had to go for baseball practice. 

I think I saw you looking at me during English class. I'm not sure if you were really looking at me or you just happened to do so. But I swear, my heart skipped one, two or maybe even three beats when I caught your eye and you didn't look away.

I'm sorry for looking away first but I had to. If I hadn't done that then I would break down again. And I didn't want you to see me cry.
