joining click

it's been a couple of months since i moved to Australia. Lannan and i have gotten really close and i have got close to the other click members. but mostly Lannan. i went over nearly everyday and i stayed their most nights. most of the time, i end up asleep beside Lannan because we stay up till like 2. A.M watching Netflix every night. this morning, I woke up to the creak of the door opening. "Kath? what's up... who's that behind you?" i say as i see a shadow behind her. "just Marcus. why are you in Lannan's hoodie?" she said. "1. I'm been wearing it for the past two days. 2. it's comfy af and 3. I didn't have any clothes to sleep in!" i say giggling. "you could have just asked Kath" Marcus piped up. "true! one sec. need to slip outta Lannan's grip while trying not to wake him" i whisper. i finally got out of his grip and went for breakfast with Kath and Marcus. "so, Y/N, you and Lannan have been getting really close" Kath says as Elliot walks in. "maybe a bit to close" he says laughing. i go over to him and playfully punch him. "so we wanted to ask you... i know i should wait to tell you but i really can't... do you wanna join Click?" Kath said excitedly. "yes! thank you guys!" i say giving everyone there a hug. "we have a room for you that you can have. if you like, you can move in. only if you want to, no pressure!" Marcus said looking hopeful. "i'll start packing tomorrow!" you saying finishing your toast. as you finish, Lannan walks in. "Lannan, you need to stop recording so late. you look like you came from your grave" i said laughing. "but i can't fix my schedule. I couldn't be arsed" he said sitting down next to you. "oh yea Lannan, im joining Click and im moving in tomorrow" i say cheerfully. "congarts Y/N. give me my hoodie back now" he says hugging you. "no! I have nothing else under except for shorts!" i say quietly enough for only him to hear. "oh sorry" he said grabbing his cereal. "it's fine Lan. i'll just go change into my own clothes" i say getting up. "nah, you don't have to. you can keep the hoodie if you like" he says. "thanks. just need to wear something other than your hoodie for once" i say. you were going to go to the shower until you heard the water running. fuck you Cray. you end up going to change in Lannan's room. you pick out a light pink crop top and some denim shorts. as i was getting changed, someone opened the door. i turned around to see who it was and thankfully it was only Kath. "thank god it was only you. if it was one of the boys, they would actually be dead. i would kill them on the spot" i say. Kath just laughed. "we're going for lunch later. wanna join? it's kinda to celebrate you joining!" she says coming in. "sure, but i just need to go tell Rachel and get my camera" i say putting on my shoes. "Lannan's over there right now i think" she says checking her phone. "right. i'll bring him back with me. see ya lufu" i said walking out the door. i walk back to my soon to be old home and i open the door. there i see Rachel kissing Lannan. I get upset until he pushed her off. "what the hell Rachel! I like someone else. besides, your my ex. i left you for a reason! because i liked someone else. so you just need to forget it. forget us." he said heading for the door. "Y/N, i didn't see you. did you see?" he said worryingly. "yea... but even if you guys were a thing, i'd be cool with it. honestly" i lied. "like, cause we aren't even a thing so it doesn't matter" I say quietly. "maybe not now, but soon" Lannan said under his breath. I don't think i was supposed to hear him but i did. he left and i went and got my camera and some stuff to bring over seeing im moving in next door. ill need clothes other than Lannan's at one point. "oh yea Rachel, moving in next door. i joined click" i say putting some stuff in a box. "oh so are you sharing a room with Lannan?" Rachel said. "until i get furniture for my room, yes. what's wrong with that?' i say lifting my box. "well, Lannan is mine. so back off. okay?" she said. "nah, i ain't gonna listen to a stranger. seeing i clearly don't know you.." i say walking out and slamming the door. a tear trickles down my face. i thought she was my best friend. I trusted her. she knows i like Lannan. so why would she try to take him? i know we aren't a thing but I can't help but feel jealous. i walk into the Click house with my box of some things and go to Lannan's room. i flopped on the bed and the tears started flowing down my face. i just lost my one of my best friends. shes always been a bitch sometimes but not this bad. while i cried Elliot and Lannan walk in. "Y/N, are you okay??" Elliot said while both of them walked over to me. "yea, im fine. Rachel and i just had a fight..." i say wiping away my tears. Lannan gives a look of guilt but i shake my head a but to assure him it's not his fault. "let's go watch a movie. maybe that'll cheer you up" Lannan said putting his hand out for me. i take it as he lifts me up and we go to the living room. Lannan, Elliot and i all sit down. i sit between both the boys and i feel safe. we flicked through Netflix until we finally found a movie. we got the blankets and snacks and we relaxed. i snuggled into Lannan's chest feeling warm and happy. i smile to myself hoping that someday, he will feel the same way i do for him. as we watch the movie and talk, you sowly drift to sleep.
