Why? Why did it have to happen to Henry, of all people?

I look back down at the note and re- read it to see if it was really true.

Dear Jackie,
I'm so very sorry to inform you that Henry had been taken by King George and brought to the HQ  for imprsonment. He had somehow found out that King George had been planning to kill off all mankind by releasing a gas that's in everyone's homes. I only know of this because I was there when he had been taken. I'm telling you this so you can come down to HQ help me defeat King, while rescuing your brother and mankind. I'm deeply sorry for having to tell you such news at the time. I do hope though you choose to come because we only have exactly 7 days to complete this nerve breaking task.

I pass the note off to Alex not wanting to look at it any longer. Lafayette and Hercules rub my back as I shake.

I don't want to do anything. I don't want to save the world. I want Henry to be safe though.

Out of all people I have to be picked to do some stupid quest. Ughhhhhhhhhhh

I've thought it through. I'm not going.

It's dangerous and I'm not tryna be one of the clueless idiots on movies that always have bad endings due to the person entering the adventure in the first place.

So I'm just going to ignore the situation and wait for the total destruction of society. Like any sane being would do.

I close my eyes and try to dose off, when I hear (of all people) Alex say something that makes me choke on nothing.

"So when are we going?"

I got grounded for Thanksgiving so I couldn't update nothing. I had to freaking socialize with family! But I'm back and ready to update more.
