Samantha's POV
"Good morning auntie Ana". I say entering my aunt's room. "I brought you breakfast" I say holding a plate of food and a cup of coffee.
"Good morning sweetie! Mmmm, I can smell the delicious food from a mile away". She says grabbing the plate.
I smile and grab the newspaper that was resting on her bed and read it.
"Amanda Dolan and Andy Dolan engaged". Was what I reason the paper. My expression drops.
"I'm sorry you had to read that dear". Auntie Ana says. "They're getting married?". I ask. "Yes". She simply responded.
"Who would of thought, after a year of the death of her husband, Elias Dolan". She sighed.
"Sweetie, I know one day you're going to give justice to your mom and son, please, have patience". She says.
"I have more than patience. Thank you for being there for me". I began.
"There is no reason to thank me, Samantha, the day I came into this house, I saw the light!". She smiled.
"You're very important to me, and I love you, just like if you were my daughter". She says with tears in her eyes.
She grabs my hand and kisses it. "Like the daughter I never had". She smiled.

Narrator's POV
(At Dolan residents)
"It's been barely a year since my father's death mother! And now your engaged with my uncle Andy?!". Cameron asks in disgust.
"Don't talk to me like that". Amanda says sitting on the couch. "I'm sorry mom, but really, what do you see in him!?". Cameron asked.
"He's the only one who gave us his unconditional love and support, why can't you be grateful?". Amanda asked.
"Grateful is another thing, but to marry him a year after my dad died?! I thought he was the love of your life?!? You cried and cried and cried saying that you'll never forget him!". Cameron says mimicking her mother's actions a year ago.
"I know! He IS the love of my life! And I will never forget him! But he's dead! I have to move forward!". Amanda says getting angry.
Cameron only stared at her mother. Confused and angry. This sounded like a nightmare. "I know what you're thinking, you better stop". Amanda warned cameron.
"You probably cheated, you killed him right?!". Cameron said. "No!". Amanda yelled slapping cameron across her face.
"I will never loose respect for your father! I did not kill him!". Amanda cried.
"I don't believe you!". Cameron yelled gripping the cheek her mother just slapped and walking away. Tears escaping her eyes. For her mother had changed. Not for the good, but for the worse.

Grayson's POV
(He's in Scotland)
My phone started ringing and I rush to answer it. "hello?". I say into the phone. "Gray, it's cam". I hear my sister say.
"What's wrong sis?". I ask her. "I'm sorry for bothering you Gray but I can't take it anymore, mom is going to get married". She says into the phone.
"What?! With who?!". I ask. "She's going to marry uncle Andy!". She says. "You have to come home Gray , please". She cried.

(Days later)
Grayson's POV
"Are you almost here cam?". I asked through the phone.
"Yes, I'm in a black suburban". Cam responded. I look around. I was outside the airport waiting for my sister to pick me up.
I see a black suburban and I walk towards it. "I see you cam". I say. "Ok bye". She says before she hung up.
"Hello". I smiled getting on the passenger side of the car. "Hi". She says without emotion.
"What's wrong sis?". I ask her. "It's just, I can't believe mom is going to get married, to uncle Andy". She muttered the last part.
"I can't believe it either". I sighed. "Gray, she even slapped me, I accused her of cheating on dad, it's not like her to do that, uncle Andy changed her". Cameron says driving away from the airport.
"She hit you?!". I asked getting angry. She simply nodded. "Sure, it's not like her to do that, but she has to move on cam, but not with uncle Andy". I say.
"Ugh, don't even say his name". She says rolling her eyes. "All he did was turn the company into crap". She finished.
*After car ride*
"Mom i can't let you marry uncle Andy". I say bursting in the kitchen. She looks at me startled.
"Since when did you get here? And why not?". She asked resting her hand on her hip.
"Because! It's been a year since my dad died and you're already going to marry!". I say.
"I'm not going to sit there and morn the loss of your father forever. I'm in love with Andy, and he has proven himself about being the face of the company". She says.
"Oh my God". Cameron rolled her eyes. "And he was there in my darkest days". My mom says.
"Mom that is not a motive for you to marry him!". I say. "But why not?" She asked.
"He had done everything for this family, he was supportive, kind, loving, he kept the company stable, and you". She says pointing at me.
"You're going to point you finger at my brother because he didn't want the company?!". Cameron yelled.
"Of course I am! Because the company was for him! But Andy had to take care of it! And HE did the work, he stayed". My mom says with teary eyes.
"Mom, it's true, I left, but now I'm here to take charge". I say. "Don't you think it's too late?". She asked.
"It hurts me too say it, but all Andy wants is the company, he doesn't love you mom". I sighed.
My mother looks down at the floor. She then looks back at me. "One day, I'm going to marry him and I don't care what you're going to say". She spoke.
"Very well, like you, who is determined to do that, I'm determined to win back my spot in the company, excuse me". I say brushing past my mom.
Cameron looks at her angry, and she walks away behind me.
