Chucky and Nica

In Cult Of Chucky when Chucky transfers his soul into Nica,he also kills the doctor(or therapist) and saying "this is for Nica"

If Chucky did not like Nica,then why did he defend her,yes he said earlier in the movie that he thought the doctor was sick. But,obviously the kill was for Nica too because of what Chucky said.

My personal opinion is,he has a soft spot for victims who have been sexually offended or abused. So,Chucky thought he would make the kill dedicated to her because he felt bad that Dr.Foley did that to her.

And you can tell the difference of how Chucky treats Nica,like in Curse and then in Cult after he found out what Dr.Foley was doing to her. I mean,he literally knocked him out,probably so he wouldn't continue to kiss her like I think we can all agree Foley is the one who probably had the most mental issues.
