I've known the Sons since I was little. Growing up around them. I knew what they did and what they stood for. I didn't care. My father didn't care for them. Hated me hanging around them. So he had me shipped off to Russia to live with some very distant relatives.

I'm 27 now. And I'm currently on a plane back to my home town.

I arrived in Charming just after midnight. I decided to get a hotel room and rest. Lord only knows how tomorrow was going to go.

It was around noon when I woke up.  I took a quick shower and put on some black lace underwear and bra, blue skinny jeans, plain black crop top t-shirt, and my white sneakers.

After I was ready I made my way to TM. The only place that ever felt like home. I pulled in and saw that there was an absent amount of bikes. I pulled into the first spot I saw and got out. I was about halfway to the office door when I saw Gemma appear in the doorway. She was always like a mother to me. Always had my back, and was constantly trying to get me and Jax together.

"Hey momma Gem!" I all but yelled it making my Russian accent known. Gemma walked up to me and gave me a big hug.

"Hey there Kat. How you been? How long have you been in town? And what is with the accent?" Leave it to Gem to get straight to the point.

She led me over to a nearby picnic table and we sat down. "Well I've been good. Just got back last night. The accent is because my father shipped me off all those years ago to live with some Russian family members. His way of trying to keep me from you guys. I ended up staying there for awhile. Trying to make shit work. But when I found out that my father died I decided to come back. Not like he can ship me off again." We both laughed a little at the poorly made joke.

We spent the next 30 minutes or so talking. Gemma getting me up to speed on all things Jax. How he ended up marrying a crow eater named Wendy. She got pregnant, used and ended up having Able, their son, earlier than expected with some complications. Then Tara, Jax's ex high school sweetheart came back into the picture. She pushed Wendy out. But now Gemma was trying to push Tara out. After a few more minutes of talking both women stood as they saw bikes pull in.

"Holy shit. Little Kitty Kat! That you?" Tig ran up to the girl, taking her into a bear hug. "Put me down Trager!" Tig laughed and put her down. She smacked his chest in response. "I hate that name. I'm 27 ya know. Not 5. Fuckin pervert." She smiled as Tig laughed again.

The rest of the guys hugged her and then she explained her accent. All eyes went to Jax after that. They soon made up lame excuses and left the pair alone.

Kat moved back to the picnic table and Jax followed her. Sitting down next to her and lighting a smoke.

"So your mom told me you have a son. Congratulations."

"Thanks."

You could feel the tension in the air. It was common knowledge that Jax and Kat had a thing a few times. But the last time, before her father shipped her off, he had found them together in her bed. She was still a teen and Jax had just turned 18. That's all her father saw.

Kat sighed and ran a hand thru her black hair. "Look Jax, I'm not here to stir up shit. Your mom told me some things. I know you're back with Tara. If that's who you want then fine. I'm back in the states because this is the only place that's ever felt like home to me. The club, your mom, everyone. They're my family. Am I upset that you moved on so quick after I left? Yeah. I won't lie about that. I also won't lie about the fact that you're the only guy I've been with. I just couldn't move on I guess. I know your mom is going to try and use me to push Tara away. I won't let her. I'm telling you this now because you deserve the truth. What you do with it is up to you."

With that Kat got up and made her way to the guys. Tig taking her into another bear hug. Jax smiled at how she interacted with the guys. Tara and Wendy were never that welcomed by them. Never knew how to put the guys in their place if the needed it. Plus his mom liked Kat. That never happened.

Jax sat on the picnic table for a few more minutes. Watching Kat and the guys joke around. He played with a necklace that had a female ring on it. The ring he had planned to give to Kat before her father forced her to leave. He knew that this was his second chance. Tara could never be in this life and understand like Kat did. He knew he would have some explaining to do later but what mattered now was making shit known to the girl he had never stopped loving.

Jax let go of the necklace and stood up from  the table. Soon after he was by Kat's side as she said some sarcastic comment back to Tig. Jax cleared his throat and she turned to him. Before she could regester what was going on Jax had his lips on hers. Of course she wasted no time in kissing him back.

Jax pulled away from her and took off the necklace, showing it to her. She had saw the ring the last night they were together. She had hoped it was for her, but her father interfered.

She looked up to Jax. He smiled at her as she nodded.

"It's always been you darlin'" Jax slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her again as the guys cheered.

"Hate to break this up but brother, incoming." Juice pointed to behind Jax. A very pissed off Tara was a few feet behind them.

Yep he was most likely going to get his ass kicked. But hey at least he would have Kat to help him clean up later.
