Irene's Perspective:
My obnoxious alarm clock woke me up in the morning. I stumbled into my closet, still half asleep. After my father died, my family doesn't have the kind of money to buy extra clothes, but I still have clothes from when my father was still alive. Today I paired a white off-the-shoulder top with a blue midi skirt and pearl earrings. It's a good thing my high school doesn't have a dress code.
Before I left my house, I had a small breakfast and headed for my bus stop. My house is only a couple minutes away from my bus stop, so I arrived a bit early.
I was playing with my hair and when Jenna, my best friend, came running over to me.
"Irene, he's right behind you!" she exclaimed, wearing a huge grin on her face.
"Hey, shhhhhh," I shushed her, not wanting anyone to hear.
I didn't have to look behind me to see who it was- I could tell it was Jungkook. He's super athletic and smart, plus he's really social and has lots of friends. He's cute too- I can't look at him without having to look twice, but I'm sure at least fifty other girls at our school are thinking the same thing.
The bus arrived, and I lined up to board the bus. I followed Jenna to the very back seat- where we always sit together. Jenna started talking about a school project or something. I heard Jin, one of Jungkook's friends, say "WhAt?" really loudly at the front of the bus. As if on cue, Taehyung, another one of Jungkook's other friends, stared at me- or more like glared. I wondered what he was so mad about. I don't even talk that much to him, I wasn't sure why Taehyung seemed so mad.
